Lawrence's POV

Sweat loomed over my flesh and heat rose to my cheeks. Danger approached but was paralyzed to my stance.

"NO!" I shouted waking myself from a long slumber.

I awoke to an aching pain in my abdomen. Where the hell was I? It was dark and the sound of water drains could be heard.

"Oh, you're awake?" I heard someone say. "Do you remember me?" the she-wolf asked. "Karly?" I croaked. "Yes, I'm a friend of your fathers. I helped you here. No one would ever find us here," she smiled damping a wet towel on my forehead. "Why did you help me?" I asked. "It seems your father would no longer be around to be king of the rogues. Who better to replace him than his blood son?" Karly asked. "Where are we?" I asked struggling to sit up.

I took in Karly's short stature eye and curvy figure. Her eyes and skin glowed under the moonlight and her hair pulled tightly in a braid. I was no doubt attracted to her, but she couldn't hold a candle to Matilda or Adelina. However, she was gorgeous in an exotic way.

"What are you getting out of this?" I asked. "Well..." she giggled. "Well, what?" I bluntly asked. "You are your fathers son. If you decide to take his place in the coming months, I only ask that I be your Luna," she purred placing her hand on my thigh.

I bit my lip contemplating if I could even trust this she-wolf. My father, Vincent told me she was a cold blooded killer, but a strong leader.

"If you prove yourself worthy, I would happily take you on as mine," I dared to say. "Prove myself! I helped you escape when you nearly faced death!" She exclaimed furiously. "Karly, if you ever raise your voice at me again, I will bend you over and show you how I punish those that defy me," I growled allowing my wolf to come forward.

Just as she backed into a corner, someone came barging in.

"I have the loaves! You would never believe it. We have a new she-wolf here. She's much older than me, but I would definitely bed her," the male wolf chanted without realizing what was happening. "Oh shut up, William! You would bed an insect. Give me those!" Karly said pushing past me. "Oh, my lord. You're finally awake. It's been days," William bowed. "You forgot the corn, you dimwit! Go back and get them!" Karly shouted. "Fine! Don't be angry if I take too long. I may just stop by and pay Annais a quick visit," he smiled mischievously before Karly throws a mason jar at his head.

Glass shattered all over the floor and her frustration grew.

"Where is my father?" I barked. "He was killed in the woods tonight," Karly replied. "How do you know this to be true?" I asked angry. "I saw it all happen! He was outnumbered and outsmarted," she answered. "Why didn't you help him?" I snapped. "I would have been killed and unable to save you, Jackass!" She yelled. "Watch your tone, little wolf," I growled.

She was so frustrated already at the dumbass, William. I just about pushed her to the limit.

"Is he your old flame?" I chuckled not moving to help. "Who? William? Goddess no! He's a fucking idiot brute that I get to be my muscle. Nothing more. Not now, not ever!" She said disposing of the glass. "Nice of you to help," she murmured under her breath.

I had her pinned against the wall in an instant with her arms over her head. There was a lesson needing learned tonight.

"What are you doing? Get off of me!" She growled in my face.

I ignored her fake cries and nibbled at her pretty pink lips. I released her arms and cradled her plentiful bosoms as if I was taking inventory of the gift I would receive. Imagine my surprise when she grabbed my growing erection in her hand.

"Not bad," she said through clenched teeth. "Let me have a peek," I whispered running my hand under her garments.

She cocked her leg to the side before wrapping it around my waist.

"Emmm," she moaned against my strokes. "That easy huh?" I asked pulling myself away. "Excuse me?" She asked offended as she should be. "You don't know me, but you're willing to let me fuck you?" I asked mischievously. "You are scum!" She said harshly pushing me on the bed. "WHOA!" I laughed harder making my sore rib cage hurt even worse. "Let's see how it makes you feel," she said walking away. "Rest!" She demanded. "Yes ma'am!" I said condescendingly.

Later that night...

I was having a nightmare. It was like the last few days were replaying in my head. I couldn't escape it. My hands were bound and so were my legs. Why was I turned on by this monstrosity?

When I opened my eyes I quickly realized why.

"Karly, what the fuck?" I asked feeling her grind happily on top of le. "How does it feel for someone to take something from you?" She whispered jerking harder on top of me. "You...you drugged me?" I asked almost impressed, but also satisfied with her movements on top of me. "How were your dreams?" She asked leaning forward allowing me to take in her scent.

Even if I wanted to move, I couldn't. I felt…vulnerable. I didn’t like it.

"Mark me and I'll be yours forever," she said sounding almost desperate. "No," I said throwing my head back in ecstasy in disapproval. "You sure about that?" She asked as if I knew I had no choice. "Even if I am not yours, you are mine," she said sinking her teeth in my neck forcing me to cum inside of her like an overflowing stream of tadpoles. "I'm going to kill you," I said to her before I fell weak. "That was...wow. Thank you," she laughed never moving off of me.

When she began thrusting her hips again, I felt myself grow inside of her once more.

"What did you give me?" I asked. "Something that will bound you to me forever," she moaned.

It continued until I was raw to the touch. She was punishing me until I nearly gave in and marked her.

I wouldn't mind it so much now, but I didn't trust her. She would never be trusted. I cannot believe she was trying to get pregnant to bound herself to me.

Next morning...

"Sleep well?" Karly asked sipping her tea. "Yeah," I said snatching her tea from her hand. "Thirsty? I could just make you some," she said offended. "I don't trust you not to poison me again," I snapped.

"Well, next time don't mock me," she said pushing me aside.

I dropped the tea on the floor and smacked her across the face.

"You have no honor!" I growled in her face. "Says the wolf who ripped a pup from its wound!" She snapped back spitting blood in my face. "How did you know that?" I asked taken back. "I always know. I'm everywhere and nowhere at the same time. You may not desire me, but you need me," she said flinching terrified that I would strike her again.

I stepped back and thought about what she said. Karly wasn't wrong, but she also wasn't right about me NEEDING her.

"Okay, if you choose to continue on this road with me, it won't be easy. You sure you can handle that?" I asked yanking her hair to face me. "Can you handle me?" She asked and I lifted her up and threw her on the bed. "Let me show you just how well," I said harshly kissing the blood from her lips away.

She didn't object nor did she push me away. I had every intention on making her beg me to stop by the end of it.

"OW!" She cried out feeling me fondle her goods. "I knew you couldn’t take it," I smirked climbing over her. "I just need recovery," she said throwing her garments back on. "You know, William never came back. Maybe he got lucky with that she-wolf, Annais," I said aloud. "He would surely stick his dick in anything with a hole. I cannot begin to tell you some things I have caught him penetrating. I'm surprised it hasn’t fallen off," Karly said shivering in disgust at the thought.

I looked out of the window. Sure enough, William was speaking to an unidentifiable she-wolf. Her back was to me, but her hair seemed oddly familiar.

"We leave tonight," Karly said pulling me from my thoughts. "I thought we were safe here?" I asked. "I only said that to place you at ease, my lord. Once they come looking for the cabin's owner, they will become suspicious," she replied. "Well, where the hell is the owner?" I asked. "In the fire. He has kept us warm for days," she nonchalantly said tossing something in a satchel full of bread loaves and produce.

What have I gotten myself into? Apparently, Karly knew of a place where my father used to hide out. They were in need of a leader. She was all too thrilled to help when I agreed to make her my Luna. At least for now until I grew tired of her.

My father was dead now. It was up to me to restore my honor and take back what has been stolen. Even if I had to kill off my own family. They would all pay. Starting with the twins, Oliver and Octavia. If my own twin wouldn't help me destroy them from the inside, she would surely suffer at my hand too.

Oliver's POV"Daphne! Wait up!" I called out. "Hey, Olly," she replied. "Jamela and I were wondering if you would accompany us tomorrow. You shouldn't be alone mourning OUR father," I offered. "It is okay. Thank you for your offer," she sadly replied trying to leave. "Please," I begged extending my hand. "Like it or not, you're family," I smiled.Daphne rushed into my arms with gratefulness. I think we were all stuck within our own grief to realize that Daphne was in extreme pain too. I felt it. After Daphne agreed to meet my mate, Jamela and me for the send off, I refocused on training because the challenge between Vincent and my father would be happening soon. With sweat dripping from my forehead into the ground, I was tired from sparring with Marlo."You are...perfect," a strange female said I whipped around and said. "You are...not from here," I said cocking an eyebrow. "I'm Alexis, Essex's baby sister. And you are?" She sweetly asked. "Mated. Excuse me," I said trying to walk awa

McKenna's POVThe crowd was roaring Lincoln's name and those that were not, a Galatea Guardian strategically placed themselves behind them unbeknownst to them. We knew Vincent had loyal patrons lurking in the kingdom and now we left it to them to reveal themselves even if they didn't know it."You're going to regret this," Vincent snarled walking past me. "FUCK. OFF!" I growled in his face. "Careful, I wouldn't want to kill you before I have you watch Lincoln fall to his knees without a head," he laughed. "Besides, you've seen better days. Maybe when I'm done with him, I'll take you on as one of my least favorite whores. I'll be sure to pass you around to my fellow warriors," he said seductively biting his lips. "You aren't even a living wolf. I am certain you were created in error," I said bored. "You cunt! You have no mind to know anything! It is you who has clawed her way into my family's space. Sorry bastard whore!" He shouted. "Yet, I am not the one my parents fear for killing my

Alpha Queen Octavia's POV After my father ripped his brother, Vincent apart the deaths of his followers came soon after. LONG LIVE THE KING! LONG LIVE THE KING! LONG LIVE THE KING! The crowd fell to their feet in praise. He looked them over before turning his attention to my mother. Sadness enveloped both of them because tomorrow we bid farewell to my other father, Jubilee who wasn’t here to witness the destruction of his murderer.“He’s here with us!” I shouted easing my sword in acknowledgment. All the warriors present did the same. There was no need to say his name. We all knew and understood.Next morning... “You look stunning,” Essex said removing a stray curl from my face. “I miss him every hour, minute, and second of the day,” I confessed staring at the reflection in front of me. “I know,” he sighed resting his head on top of mine. “Those that leave us never really leave us,” he said placing his hand over my heart. “Physically, yes. I do believe they are in every speck of

Jamela's POV The sounds of broken necks, screams, and blood splatter finally ceded from Vincent's followers. It's still early, but we rode for Klaus as planned. After executing all of Vincent's followers, we became less skeptical about those that chose to pledge their allegiance to the crown. "Are you going to be okay?" McKenna asked me seeming refreshed. "Y-yeah. I am ready to face my father," I replied. "Olly will kill him if he harms you or refuses to surrender," she reminded me. "He won't have to. I'll do what must be done," I sighed. "It may not be as easy as you believe it to be," she said cocking an eyebrow. "What about you? I heard what Elena said to you about Jubilee. Does it help?" I asked and she smiled. "Nothing could erase the heartache. If fear it will always be there, but I do feel slightly better," she answered. "I don't know much about Jubilee," I said aloud. "Well, he's the bastard son of a Beta. It wasn't until our third eclipse together before I learned of his l

Alpha Santak's POV "What do you mean, no? You owe me you sick son of a bitch!" retired Alpha Tirado angrily growled. "I have the border locked down right now. The only wolves getting through are those with my permission. This is MY kingdom now you piece of shit!" I spat. "Don't forget who you address. I fought alongside you in many wars and you refuse me and my mate safe passage?" He snarled. "Looks like your mate wants as much from you as she could get," I chuckled. "You little..." he said coming at me. "Take them from my sight," I said waving them off. My mind wandered on my intentions of strangling my daughter, Jamela. I missed Lily every day, but it had to end this way. There is no reason she should live and my other daughter, Lily, and her mate, Jace are worm food. "Alpha! Someone is here to see you," Duke Sayid said dismissing protocol. "Were my orders unclear?" I asked pissed that my thoughts were interrupted. "Believe me, Alpha, you are going to want to hear what these two

Lawrence's POV "We need to go, NOW!" Karly whisper shouted. "It's not fair," I said stood frozen watching Oliver's massive frame tower over Alpha Santak. "I don't have time for your insecurities, my lord! We must go!" Karly said sending William a signal to get our horses. "We must go on foot or we will be spotted. Do you not know anything, stupid girl?" I asked dragging her behind me. "More than you, I'm sure," she murmured, but I ignored it. While dashing through the chaotic streets, my breath hitched in my throat when I saw HER. "You go ahead. I'll meet you at the wood line where it meets the creek. Wait for me there," I said to Karly. "Don't be a fool," she warned realizing why I felt the need to stop. "I won't. I promise," I lied. I inched toward Matilda. She still looked as beautiful as the day I realized she was my mate. It's too bad she reeked of Aiken's scent now. "AHHH!" She squealed as I drug her from the mayhem. "L-Lawrence?" She asked before I suffocated her until she

Rose's POV "I cannot believe it has come to this!" I shouted over the yelling. "I must find my mate, Duke Sayid!" Taysia said desperately searching for her mate. "What kind of life would you and your pup have with him? A life looking over your shoulder, sister?" I asked. "Says the she-wolf who set Vincent free!" She snapped. "I-I," I stammered. "Why should I listen to you? It is not like you know best. Either you help me look for him or leave me be, SISTER!" She snarled. I threw my hands up in surrender. If she wanted to ruin her life, I was too exhausted to try to stop her. "Why would you free that monster?" Essex voice sounded from behind me. My breath was caught in my throat. I had no idea he had been near in the chaos of the ongoing war.“It is not what you think," I reasoned. "Rose..." he began to say. "No! I am no longer yours and neither or you mine. You don't get to speak to me," I said dismissively. "We are in the middle of a war and you act as if I am the enemy," he sa

McKenna's POV"Why did you let her go? It is clear that she is a criminal!" I protested. "Which is why it will be proven tonight," Tavi replied. "How? She will be gone within minutes!" I explained. "You are right, mother. If you must know, there's already someone on her trail," Tavi responded. "You did not raise me to be a fool. I have messed up plenty, but I tend to learn from them," she added. "Of course. I know you do," I said relieved. After turning in for the night, I got this overwhelming feeling that I was being watched. It made me leery."Jamela?" I asked out loud. "I didn't mean to startle you," she sighed. "What are you doing out here? Where's Olly?" I asked worried. "He's helping with the clean up and the list to notify loved ones of the passing of their family members," she answered. Then it hit me, she had just lost her father."How are you doing?" I asked sitting next to her. "I thought I would feel lighter, but I already feel haunted. "There's so many unanswered questio

Alpha Queen Octavia's POV "MATE!" I called out but he wasn't there. The place had been cleaned of the wetness of blood long ago. It wasn't until Phillip and Elder Adalwolf turned the corner clean shaven and no longer covered in dirt with that I realized some time had passed. "My Queen!" Phillip and Adalwolf said in unison. "W-Where is my mate?" I frowned. "Your Grace, he has returned to the palace some time ago when you did not return after the war of the North," Phillip explained just as Antionette paced in with their three pups. "H-How long have I been under?" I hesitantly asked. "Many, many, many moons, my Queen," Antionette spoke up. I noticed the crazy stares I received. Was my appearance off? They seemed stunned in a sense. Other than that, I couldn't believe Antionette, the hateful traitor even bowed to me now. In my stead of frustration, I hadn't realized that my belly had swollen a great deal from its usual flat state. That would explain the odd stares from those in fron

  • Submission II: Twisted Fate (Sequel to Rise of the Bastards)   CHAPTER 41: DEAFENING SILENCE

Alpha Queen Octavia's POV Darkness. So much darkness. The screams of agony. Unrelenting suffering. The silence was almost deafening all of a sudden. The echoes of the dead could be heard surely to the land of the living, but more present than the skulls that lay in piles that surrounded me. I couldn't see Donyale in the shadows, but her cries of terror could now be heard. I was pulled to the underworld with Donyale with the help of Alpha Queen Lenora and D'Laurentis' blood mix. I felt their power radiate through me. My wolf, Gemini followed her commands without question. "What have you done, stupid girl?" Donyale said stumbling from the pit of darkness. "Saved my family," I replied subconsciously rubbing my belly. Still in a warped state. "YOU STUPID BITCH!" She called out. "Do you really think that mutt in your belly will survive down here? It's already dead!" Donyale shouted. I rushed her with the anger that filled me. Her words tortured me, but physically her power matched

Oliver's POV The bodies were falling from the towers and from the horses that bounded prematurely. Blood spilled in the dirt and shadowed the fortress walls. As our shields went up, so did the spears and arrows that shot in our direction before being taken out by the warriors we left at the perimeter. "Stay at my side!" I ordered Jamela. "Go get her!" She demanded of me before I was attacked at the side. "GO!" Jamela demanded before throwing off the rogue that thought he bested me. I trudged through the crowd fighting off massive rogues with red eyes and a stench that reeked of the dead. Alexis was nowhere in sight. "This way!" Jamela said leading the way. "Her scent," I said finally catching on. "Mate!" My wolf whimpered at the smell of her blood. She's undoubtedly hurt. The scent took us in the direction of the kitchen. "THERE!" Jamela shouted through our mate link. Too many guards to count charged in our direction trying to prevent us from crashing what looked to be preparin

Queen Octavia's POV I was restless to say the least. My dreams kept me up in my subconscious. "I need you to listen to me," the familiar voice of Alpha Queen Lenora spoke. "You're in the underworld. How is it that you communicate with me?" I quizzed. "We are bonded by true blood. Listen to me! You must drag Donyale to the underworld. It awaits her arrival. She's cheated death far too long. It must happen during the night of the red moon," Alpha Queen Lenora warned. "I need help. D'Laurentis is not being cooperative. There's got to be another way," I replied. "I'll meet you halfway. Listen to your wolf. Gemini will know what to do. Just do as I ask and the rest will come to you. DO NOT HESITATE," she warned just as I was being shaken awake from my nightmare. Every night I had a visit from Queen Lenora. She showed me things. It was almost as if it were snips from the past. Most times I could not hear what she would say. It was hunting. Lady Swan convinced me to want to listen. I some

Lady Donyale's POV "My lady, the prisoners have escaped!" One of the imbecile guards alarmed me. "WHAT?" I asked trudging to their usual holding cells. "They were here, but it looks like they had been digging that hole for some time. Someone must have helped them knock down the rest! There's no way we wouldn't have caught it!" The imbecile explained. My hands were around his neck and his body a heap of ash by the time I finished strangling him. I needed a blood sacrifice that would please my worshiper. An elder would have elevated my power beyond this world as it always has. "WHERE IS THE ELDER AND MY BLACKSMITH?" I shouted in anger. "Auntie, surely you have traitors amongst us. I say we sacrifice them!" Beatrice offered. "Don't be an idiot! If I knew who the betrayers were they would be dead already? GET ME A SACRIFICE AND FIND THOSE IDIOTS!" I ordered her. My anger rose by the second when a solution was not brought before me. The rage I felt barreled through the walls of the for

McKenna's POV The night rushed on to midnight before we knew it Nimrod appeared, but his father did not. "What is the meaning of this? Lincoln asked. "It appears that he felt the need to appear to the werewolf Alpha Queen. I guess she called upon him," Nimrod replied almost sounding unaware. "Octavia?" I asked. "That's the one," he said snapping his fingers. "How do we end this?" Antionette asked sounding just as desperate. "My father's blood would surely be needed. Other than that, I'm not sure," he shrugged. "LIAR!" Antionette barked. "Don't you think I would have ended her long ago if I could. I helped her cheat death, but that was a witches doing who's now dead. My only job was to steal my father's blood and believe me that wasn't easy. The witch, Gertrude did the rest," he said agitated before leaving us in our thoughts.. The wheels were rolling in Antionette's head. So, we let her be. Gertrude had been a very good friend of mine in this life. It made me wonder if her granddau

Antionette's POV "Phoebe! You stop that at once!" I shouted at my daughter. It was no use. That little she-wolf was just like me when I was younger. My youngest, the twins were unruly, but in the cutest way. My life had been quiet. Although, many suitors have tried to court me. I never felt them to be genuine. They wanted a Queen or what I used to be. Either they were widowed, ugly, or fat. In my heart I just knew that Phillip would return to me. "My lady, we have company," my nanny, Ana said out of breath. "We never have company," I said grabbing my pitch fork from the wall. "You'll never believe who it is, my lady," she gulped. I took one step out of the doorway and wanted to swallow my tongue. "What are you both doing here?" I asked clinging tightly to my pitchfork. "I was granted asylum! You cannot just march to my doorstep trying to imprison me in front of my pups!" I added glaring at them. Lincoln and Mckenna looked at each other in confusion before speaking up. "We need

Taysia's POV "WAKE UP!" I heard Lex's voice boom in my head. "What is it?" I asked pretending to have been asleep. Truth is, I've barely had a wink of sleep since my pup disappeared and I ate my sister. Served on a silver platter by kitchen omegas under the orders of Alex and Lady Donyale. If I had known…."Today is the day Lady Donyale will announce that I'll subsume the North with you as my Queen," he proudly said kissing my forehead. "It'll be just like old times," he cackled. "I would like my parents to be present at our wedding," I whispered. "We will invite the whole damned kingdom!" He boomed proud of his victory. "I'm sure you will," I murmured standing to walk toward the washroom. "Oh, don't be like that. I thought we had fun last night. Do I need to teach you how to obey me again?" He whispered in my ear. I shook my head in fright. His idea of teaching me a lesson always led to pain and blood that drizzled down my legs for days. Lex was a monster I never realized I knew.

Matilda's POV "How are you go holding up?" A familiar voice whispered. "Alexis?" I croaked through one swollen eye. "Yes, it is me, but I must remain hidden. How? Why are you here?" She asked. "I don't remember much. Our camp was attacked. I went to fetch fresh water for our casualties before I was hit over the head with something HARD. I woke up here," I replied. "I'm so sorry, but I'm going to get you out of here," she replied. "H-How did you know I was down here?" I asked. "I'm a spy. I heard rumors about a prisoner. I went to the main dungeons, but they were all the same. It's when I began trailing Karly. She's not as clever as she thinks. Here, take this. It will help weaken the wolfsbane in your system faster. BuShit! Someone's coming," she panicked before I heard the clanking of the cells that kept me bound. I stuffed my mouth with the remnants of the moon flower Alexis had slipped me. I felt my strength being renewed little by little. My chains were heavy, but not as much as
