CHAPTER 12: A LIFE LOOKING OVER YOUR SHOULDER

Rose's POV

"I cannot believe it has come to this!" I shouted over the yelling. "I must find my mate, Duke Sayid!" Taysia said desperately searching for her mate. "What kind of life would you and your pup have with him? A life looking over your shoulder, sister?" I asked. "Says the she-wolf who set Vincent free!" She snapped. "I-I," I stammered. "Why should I listen to you? It is not like you know best. Either you help me look for him or leave me be, SISTER!" She snarled.

I threw my hands up in surrender. If she wanted to ruin her life, I was too exhausted to try to stop her.

"Why would you free that monster?" Essex voice sounded from behind me.

My breath was caught in my throat. I had no idea he had been near in the chaos of the ongoing war.
