CHAPTER 19: DOES HE SUSPECT

Rose's POV

"Look at his little chubby cheeks!" I cooed, pinching my sister Taysia's pup. "He's so chubby. I think I should not eat so much meat,” she replied, sounding self-conscious. "You are beautiful, sister. Hey, Duke Sayid doesn't suspect the pup not being his, does he?" I whispered. "Not at all. He's convinced little Sayid has his eyes," she giggled. "I still can't believe you gave your pup his name," I said, shaking my head. "He's my true mate, Rose. I love him with all my heart. He is good to me. I think it was meant to be this way. After what Lex did to me...I feared I would never conceive. He was such a monster, and I was blinded by the love I had for him. He haunts me still," she began to cry. "The son of a bitch is dead! Let it rest, sister," I urged.
