Asher pov

It sounded like footsteps, light and stealthy. I turned to my mother, my eyes narrowing.

"Do you hear that?" I whispered.

My mother's eyes widened, and she nodded. "Yes, I do," she whispered back. "It sounds like someone is sneaking around outside."

I immediately went on high alert, my senses heightened as I tried to pinpoint the location of the noise. My mother's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the concern and fear reflected in them.

"Stay here," I whispered to her, my voice barely audible. "I'll go check it out."

My mother nodded, her eyes never leaving mine. I could sense her fear, but I also knew that she trusted me to handle the situation.

I slowly made my way to the door, my ears perked up and my heart racing with anticipation. As I reached the door, I paused, listening intently for any sign of movement.

And then, I heard it again which was the faint sound of footsteps, this time closer and more deliberate. I took a deep breath, preparing myself for whatever was on the other side of the door.

My teeth sharpened and my hair stood on end. I hesitated before opening the door, but it was my guards. "Good day, my alpha," one of the guards stammered, trembling in fear as he took in my transformed state.

"What is the problem?" I asked, trying to calm myself down as I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down, not wanting to scare my guards any further

The guard swallowed hard before speaking. "It's...it's Luna Sophia, my alpha," he stammered. "She's...she's gone missing."

"Good day, my alpha," one of the guards stammered, trembling in fear as he took in my transformed state. My teeth were still sharpened, and my hair was standing on end, giving me a fierce and intimidating appearance.

My heart skipped a beat as I processed the guard's words. Sophia was missing? How was that possible? I had just seen her a little while ago, storming out of the room in a fit of anger.

"When did you notice she was missing?" I demanded, my mind racing with possibilities.

The guard hesitated before answering. "About 10 minutes ago, my alpha. We were following her in a low profile when we realized she was nowhere to be found."

I growled, feeling a louds of anger and worry. Where could Sophia have gone? And why had she left without telling anyone?

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down and think clearly. "Assemble a search party," I ordered the guards. "We need to find Sophia and bring her back to the pack house immediately."

The guards nodded and quickly dispersed to gather the rest of the pack. I turned to my mother, who was watching the scene unfold with a worried expression.

"Mother, I need you to stay here and keep an eye on things," I said. "I'll lead the search party and find Sophia."

My mother nodded, her eyes filled with concern. "Be careful, son," she said. "We don't know what kind of danger Sophia might be in."

I nodded and turned to leave, but my mother's voice stopped me. "Wait, son," she said. "Take this."

She handed me a small pouch containing a tracking device. "It's a GPS tracker," she explained. "It will help you locate Sophia's position."

I took the pouch and nodded my thanks. "I'll find her, Mother," I promised. "And I'll bring her home safely."

With that, I set off with the search party, determined to find Sophia and bring her back to the pack. But as we ventured deeper into the forest, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. Where was Sophia, and what was she doing?

We searched almost all the clubs in town, but she was nowhere to be found. Even Johnson and Loid joined in the search party, but we got no results.

"What really happened at your mother's place?" Loid asked, stopping to look at me strangely.

"You both know Sophia," I said, following with a deep breath. "She got into a fight at one of the clubs with some packs, and my mother and I just corrected her, speaking some sense into her. It wasn't like a quarrel."

"And she just stormed out, right?" Johnson said, shaking his head in disappointment. "We just hope she didn't enter into another fight."

I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of worry and concern for Sophia's safety. "Let's keep searching," I said, looking around at the others. "We need to find her before something bad happens."

Loid nodded and took out his phone. "I'll call some of the other pack members and see if they've seen her," he said.

Johnson nodded and started searching the surrounding area again. I joined him, my eyes scanning the crowds of people for any sign of Sophia.

As we searched, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Sophia was a strong and capable werewolf, but she was also impulsive and reckless. What if she had gotten herself into trouble?

I pushed the thought aside and focused on the search. We had to find Sophia and make sure she was safe.

Just as we were about to give up, Loid's phone rang. He answered it and listened for a moment before turning to us.

"I think I've found her," he said, a look of relief on his face. "One of the pack members spotted her at the old warehouse on the outskirts of town."

My heart skipped a beat as I processed the information. The old warehouse was a notorious hangout spot for rogue werewolves and other supernatural creatures. If Sophia was there, she could be in grave danger.

"Let's go," I said, already starting to move towards the warehouse. Johnson and Loid followed close behind, their faces set with determination.

As we approached the warehouse, I could feel a strange energy emanating from within. It was a mix of werewolf scent and something else, something darker and more sinister.

I exchanged a wary glance with Johnson and Loid. We knew that we were walking into a potentially volatile situation.

"Stay sharp," I whispered, my eyes scanning the perimeter of the warehouse. "We don't know what we're up against."

With that, we slipped inside, our senses on high alert as we searched for Sophia. The warehouse was dimly lit, the only sound the creaking of old wooden beams and the distant hum of a city at night.

And then, suddenly, I heard a faint rustling noise. It was soft and subtle, but it was definitely coming from deeper within the warehouse.

"Sophia?" I called out, my voice low and cautious.

There was no response. But I knew that she was here. I could feel it.

We approached a corner of the warehouse, and suddenly, a loud, multiple laughter echoed through the air. The three of us stared at each other in shock."Are you hearing that too?" Loid whispered, his voice trembling."Put your voice down," I whispered back, my tone low and angry. "I thought I sensed something."As they turned to leave, we emerged from the shadows, breathing a

"I've already booked a flight for you in an hour."I slammed on the brakes, finding a place to park. "An hour? What? Why didn't you inform me?" I exclaimed."I'm sorry, sir," she apologized. Asher povI walked into the big hall, but behold I saw something that shock me, i was Aurora As I watched her approach me with so much confidence, all I could do was just stand there like an ice-cold structure, not even a reply from me as I heard my name. I asked, my eyes widened in curiosity."Yes, my alpha," the maid said, bowing her head. "She accepted without hesitation.""Without hesitation?" I asked, standing there in shock. "That means she didn't even argue?"The maid just nodded, still with her head down."Wow, this is new," I said. "Thank you, you can go."I nodded for her to take her leave. I watched her take leave, with my mind occupied with worries. Could Sophia be telling the truth? Could she be truly pregnant?I didn't go and meet her all through the night, as I slept in another quarters. It was the break of dawn, and I was a

I am with you," I said, followed by a deep breath."What is this I'm hearing, Sophia again?" she asked, sounding worried and curious. "One of the elders just called, and with what he was telling me, he said Sophia is pregnant. How is it possible?""I understand you, Mother," I said, shaking my head in disappointment. "Even I am also confused about it.""What is it you are confused about?" she asked, sounding angry. "Isn't she your luna? But then I knew how great an actor she was; one way or another, anyone would yield for her. "Sophia," I rasped, sounding low and forbidding. "We gotta talk."She looked up at me, a weak smile on her face. "Asher," she whispered. "I'm so glad you're here. I have been feeling so unwell."I snarled; all my anger boiled then.
