She sitting all alone on a lounge chair in an eye-catching terrace, with her beauty still glowing even more than when I met her earlier.
As I looked from a distance and kept on admiring her beauty with so many thoughts, I was absent-minded with one of my hands lying on a pole. I stood there for some minutes, then gained some courage to go talk to her.
"At least, what is the worst that might happen? And again, I just want to apologize about what happened earlier with Sophia. Even if the two of them are feeling so proud to apologize to each other, it's the best I could do after all, because of me, they both quarreled earlier," as I said to myself.
As I walked towards her, I could still sense some kind of fear in me.
"Good day, Aurora," I greeted with a deep breath.
she nooded as she looked so confused and kind of angry.
"No! Please, I didn't come here for that. I am not here for that same drama again," I said to her.
She brought out her notepad from her bag.
With a deep breath, I said to her, "Aurora, please, I am here to apologize about Sophia's behavior earlier today."
As she interrupted with a big laugh, "
"Please! Just listen to me! Aurora, I am not here to mock you or make you feel uncomfortable. I am very serious and really want to apologize on her behalf," I said.
She still interrupted with a big laugh again,
"Are you joking with me? You, 'the almighty asher,' is apologizing, not just anybody, but the low-life and forsaken mute Aurora. Is this not a dream? Even in my wildest dream, I would never imagine this moment, right?" She wrote.
"Aurora, please calm down. I know you're angry right now, but please let me talk," I said.
"This is getting interesting. Let's listen to what the great alpha wants to say," she wrote with a strange look in her eyes.
"I know what happened earlier was wrong of Sophia towards you, even me, I was quite ashamed of myself, but please just let it go. I beg of you," I pleaded with her.
With a deep breath, she wrote, "Okay, no problem. It's fine by me, but let her not cross my path again. So, is that all? As you can see, I want to be left alone!"
"Aurora, please, I know I have wronged you. Believe me, but what happened in the past, let it remain in the past. I want a fresh start," I said.
She interrupted, standing up from the seat where she was sitting.
"No, please don't get it all wrong. I mean as friends. I know the harm that I have caused you in the past, but let it go. It's in the past now. I just want to know the new you," I said, talking to her with so much calmness.
As I look at her, she was staring back at me with so much anger and rage, I think to myself, Is this not the same woman who I destroyed her life five years ago? Now that she have risen back from the dust and ashes I turned her to, and guess who is back"
"What do you mean, friends?"she wrote with so much discomfort in me.
"Aurora, please try to understand. Don't get it all wrong. After what you pulled in front of Sophia, you really surprised me. I just want to know the new you," I said, as she can tell from mu facial expression that I wasn't joking.
"Ok, young man, But what I don't really understand is us being friends?" She wrote.
With a deep breath, I said, "Let's just start by knowing each other more, please, Aurora. And if you sense any form of odd way I want to pull, you can leave me alone, and I promise I wouldn't disturb you again."
I know deep down in me that I am is trying to play a dangerous game here, and I am all in for it. But I also know she would show me who the better player really is.
We stood there kept looking at each other, not knowing what to say, but i notice she was absent minded.
"Kara! Kara!! Kara!!! Please, I am very honest with every word I said to you. I really want to repair what I destroyed in the past. I honestly really do," I said.
She continued murring to herself to herself. Shekept staring at me, totally speechless.
"Please, Kara,I beg of you say something. My mind wouldn't be at ease if I don't fully know if you have really let go of the past," I said with so much pity all over his face.
I continued, "I know that I have made mistakes in the past that are beyond repair, even with the fact that I rejected you and forgotten you until this day. All I want to say is that I am deeply sorry for everything, and I want you to find a place in your heart to forgive me."
There was repentance in my words, but she looked as if she wasn't giving in. Or showing weakness.
"As a friend, you have accepted me to be now. I have a request," I said with a big smile, which she wasn't really willing to comply with.
She nodded, slowly removing her hands from my grip, which I have been holding throughout the conversation.
"After the presentation today, would you bear me the honor of having dinner with me?" I asked, followed by a deep breath which was a sign of relief to me.
I noticed the strange look on her face and added, "Sorry, please don't take it like that. I know I am a married man, but I also know how to handle my wife incase of what happened earlier not to repeat itself. But after all the mistakes I have done in the past, this is a way to start correcting them, and I am really ready to fix them and start what will be the beginning of a good friendship relationship between us."
She just shock there with no response from her...
