Asher pov

I finally saw Sophia dancing in the middle of the group, a drink in her hand and a smile on her face. She was laughing and having a great time, completely carefree.

I felt a load of anger and frustration at the sight of her. How could she be so reckless and irresponsible, especially after what had just happened?

I pushed my way through the crowd and grabbed Sophia's arm, pulling her away from the dance floor. "We need to talk," I said, my voice low and angry.

Sophia looked up at me, a look of surprise and confusion on her face. "What's wrong, Asher?" she asked, her voice slurred from drinking.

I pulled her outside, away from the noise and chaos of the club. "You're coming with me," I said, my voice firm and commanding.

Sophia looked up at me, a look of fear in her eyes. "I'm not going anywhere," she said, her voice stubborn.

I felt angry at her disobedience. "You're going to do what I say, Sophia," I said, my voice low and menacing. "You're going to come with me, and we're going to have a long talk about your behavior."

Sophia rolled her eyes, but I could see the faintest glimmer of fear in her looks. She knew she had gone too far, and now she was going to have to face the consequences.

I pulled her along, not giving her a choice as I dragged her back to my car. Johnson and Loid watched us go, their faces serious and concerned.

As we drove away from the club, Sophia sat in silence, her arms crossed and her eyes fixed on the window. I could feel her anger and resentment radiating off her, but I didn't care. She had gone too far, and now she was going to have to face the music.

When we arrived back at my mansion, I pulled Sophia out of the car and marched her inside. My mother was waiting for us in the living room, her face stern and disapproving.

"Sophia," I said, my voice firm and commanding.

Sophia looked up at me, her eyes flashing with fear. "I don't see why I have to be lectured," she said, her voice sullen.

My mother stood up, her eyes blazing with anger. "You'll do as you're told, Sophia," she said, her voice low and menacing. "You've brought shame and embarrassment to our pack, and now you're going to have to face the consequences."

Sophia's face folded on pity, and for a moment, I thought I saw a glimmer of fear in her eyes. But then her expression hardened, and she looked away, her jaw set in fear.

I sighed, feeling a big of frustration and disappointment. Sophia was going to have to learn to listen and obey, or she was going to find herself in a world of trouble.

The stranger walked in, as Sophia set her eyes on him, her face folded in anger. "What are you doing here?" she asked with a furious voice.

"You know what you did," the stranger said, his face folded in anger.

"Don't you dare talk to me like a kid," Sophia said, as her eyes began to glow and her hair rose. At that moment, I knew she was about to change into a wolf.

I quickly stood between them, as both of them were about to confront each other. "You two should calm down and remember who you both are standing with," I said, putting my hands out openly. "Respect my mother, the former Luna, if you can't respect me."

My mother's eyes flashed with approval at my words, and she nodded slightly in encouragement. Sophia's eyes still glowed with anger, but she seemed to be making an effort to calm down. Her hair slowly returned to its normal state, and her eyes lost their feral glow.

The stranger, too, seemed to be making an effort to compose himself. He took a deep breath and bowed his head slightly in respect. "I apologize, Alpha," he said. "I forgot myself for a moment."

I nodded, accepting his apology. "Let's start again," I said. "Sophia, this... gentleman has come to discuss an incident that occurred at a nightclub. It seems you were involved in a fight and revealed some sensitive information about our pack's business dealings."

Sophia's face went pale, and she looked at the stranger with a mixture of fear and disobedience. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said, but her voice was shaking slightly.

The stranger sighed and rubbed his temples. "Sophia, please. We have witnesses. We know what happened. Let's just focus on finding a way to resolve this situation, okay?"

I looked at Sophia, my expression stern. "Sophia, you need to tell the truth. What happened at that nightclub?"

Sophia looked down, her eyes avoiding mine. "I...I don't remember," she stammered.

The stranger sighed, frustration evident on his face. "Sophia, we have video footage of the incident. We know you were there, and we know what you did. It's time to stop denying it and take responsibility for your actions."

Sophia's face went light, and she looked like she was about to collapse. I could see the fear in her eyes, and I knew she was realizing the gravity of her situation.

My mother stepped forward, her expression stern. "Sophia, you have brought shame to our pack. Your actions have put us at risk, and it's time for you to face the consequences."

Sophia looked up, tears streaming down her face. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble."

I sighed, feeling a mix of emotions. I was angry with Sophia for her reckless behavior, but at the same time, I felt a pang of sympathy for her. She was clearly struggling, and I knew she needed help.

"What do you propose we do to resolve this situation?" I asked the stranger.

The stranger thought for a moment before responding. "I think it would be best if Sophia apologized to my pack and agreed to make amends for her actions. Perhaps she could perform some kind of community service or pay a fine."

I nodded, considering his proposal. It seemed like a fair solution, and I knew Sophia needed to take responsibility for her actions.

But as I looked at Sophia, I could see the fear in her eyes. She was scared, and I knew she needed my support.

"Sophia, I want you to know that I'm here for you," I said, trying to reassure her. "We'll get through this together, okay?"

But she turn to me with a weird look.

What's the meaning of me paying a fine?" Sophia said angrily, turning to the stranger."Sophia, you need to calm down. You need to take responsibility for your actions," I said, trying to hold her hand."Don't you dare tell me to calm down!" she said, waving off my hands."Sophia! Have you gone insane?" my mother yelled, her eyes glowing."Why is everyone blaming me? I wasn't the one who started the fight that night," Sophia said."Sophia, you're trying to create a war, which I'm trying to prevent here. You're a Luna, you need to know that - not causing it," I said angrily, pointing my finger at her face."Blah, blah, I know their type - the gold diggers," Sophia said, rolling her eyes.My mother's face turned red with anger, and she took a step forward. We approached a corner of the warehouse, and suddenly, a loud, multiple laughter echoed through the air. The three of us stared at each other in shock."Are you hearing that too?" Loid whispered, his voice trembling."Put your voice down," I whispered back, my tone low and angry. I rushed out of the house to avoid any drama with her.As I drove, my phone rang. I checked the screen and saw that it was my personal assistant. "Hello?" I answered, picking up the call with one hand while steering with the other."Am on my way to the office, what's the problem?" I asked."Sorry, sir, for disturbing you on such short notice," she replied, her voice low and professional.I waved my hand dismissively. "Never mind, I'm listening.""You have an important conference meeting with some high-profile business owners," she said, the sound of her typing on her laptop keyboard audible in the background. "I've already booked a flight for you in an hour."I slammed on the brakes, finding a place to park. "An hour? What? Why didn't you inform me?" I exclaimed."I'm sorry, sir," she apologized. Asher povI walked into the big hall, but behold I saw something that shock me, i was Aurora As I watched her approach me with so much confidence, all I could do was just stand there like an ice-cold structure, not even a reply from me as I heard my name. What I could keep doing was to stand there as I wallow in my imagination. In a matter of seconds, so many thoughts came to my head, and different types of flashbacks of us together. As I kept on lost in different thoughts, I felt a touch that brought me back to reality, a cold, soft, and gentle palm that I haven't felt in a very long time. And behold, she stood in front of me with her good loving blonde hair, her cute-looking blue eyebows match with her eyebrows, and her gorgeous dress with her high heels, and with all that, I began to wonder what a transformation she has really made for herself, because this is not the Aurora I knew years ago, she has had so much confidence in her. she waved with constant repetition. Asher pov As the tension was beginning to get intense I waited patiently for Sophia's response, in order to know the next step of what to do. I watched the clock as minutes turned into hours, with every tick of the clock giving me a heartbeat, my curiosity increasing. Finally, the maid came back, and as my curiosity couldn't allow me to stand and watch her come to me, I walked up to her."Any news?" I asked, my eyes widened in curiosity."Yes, my alpha," the maid said, bowing her head. "She accepted without hesitation.""Without hesitation?" I asked, standing there in shock. "That means she didn't even argue?"The maid just nodded, still with her head down."Wow, this is new," I said. "Thank you, you can go."I nodded for her to take her leave. I watched her take leave, with my mind occupied with worries. Could Sophia be telling the truth? Could she be truly pregnant?I didn't go and meet her all through the night, as I slept in another quarters. It was the break of dawn, and I was a

Asher pov Just when I was deep in thought, my phone rang. Upon looking at my phone screen, it was my mother. "What does she want?" I murmured in frustration."Hello," her voice was heavy on the other side of the phone, as I picked up the call."Yes, Mother. I am with you," I said, followed by a deep breath."What is this I'm hearing, Sophia again?" she asked, sounding worried and curious. "One of the elders just called, and with what he was telling me, he said Sophia is pregnant. How is it possible?""I understand you, Mother," I said, shaking my head in disappointment. "Even I am also confused about it.""What is it you are confused about?" she asked, sounding angry. "Isn't she your luna? You suppose to know all about this.""Mother, Sophia is very difficult to understand," I said, scratching my head in confusion. "And more so if she needs something, she will do whatever it takes to get it.""Son, we spoke when I came to your office," she said, her voice low this time. "Where you to

We shall take you to her."I followed the elders, my heart beating, ready for anything yet knowing full well that I had to face Sophia and bring the truth to the fore.Tension wells up inside of me as I approach Sophia's quarters, the anger boiling over, the confusion, but above all, the hurt which was how could Sophia do this to me? How can she lie to me and manipulate the elders?By this time, we were at Sophia's quarters. I pushed the door open and stepped in. She lay on the bed; white, almost weakened. But then I knew how great an actor she was; one way or another, anyone would yield for her. "Sophia," I rasped, sounding low and forbidding. "We gotta talk."She looked up at me, a weak smile on her face. "Asher," she whispered. "I'm so glad you're here. I have been feeling so unwell."I snarled; all my anger boiled then. "Don't play games with me, Sophia," I spat. "I know about your little scheme, the way you

Asher povOn the way to my mansion, my assistant was informing me about what had taken place. Explaining it in detail, she said Sophia had been brooding in quietness, just to solidify her support among the ranks in members to bring me down.I growled with building growing anger: How could Sophia do this to our pack? Where does she place the interest of our people? The air grew thick with tension as I approached headquarters. Pack members were huddled together, speaking among themselves.I steeled myself for the coming fight and took a deep breath. I wasn't going to let Sophia's actions tear our pack apart.I got out of the car and began to walk towards headquarters with my assistant. The curious and hostile gazes turned to me as we entered the building.I tuned them out-mentally set my focus on what lay ahead of me. I needed to get in, speak with the pack, reassure them as to my position, reassure them that I remained pack leader and the commitment within remained strong. But before r

I knew I needed to confront her, but some part of me just wouldn't take action.Maybe it was just some kind of setup. Maybe Sophia was totally innocent, and this phantom figure wanted me to think otherwise?Shrugging off my doubts, I went up to my hotel room with my mind swimming in questions and doubts. Lying beside me was Sophia, and a sly smile grew on her lips."Good morning, my alpha," she whispered, very low and seductive.I rubbed my temples, trying to ease the pain. "What was last night all about?" I asked, my voice filled with confusion and curiosity.Sophia took a deep breath before responding. "I'm the luna, and I know what my alpha needs at any given time."I raised an eyebrow, incredulous. "Sophia, I know that, but your behavior last night was unlike you. You didn't use protection or your pregnancy prevention pills. What's your game in all of this?"Sophia's smile never wavered. "Don't start this morning, asher. I know you enjoyed the passion, and I did too. Let's not spoil the moment. And if you're not satisfied, we have plenty of time this morning."I caught her hand, which was reaching to touch my chest.
