Asher pov

I looked at Johnson, his words striking a chord within me. Was I settling for Sophia? Was she truly the right luna for me?

"Johnson, you're right," I said, feeling a bit of clarity. "I need to take control of this situation. I need to be the alpha."

Johnson nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "That's the spirit, bro! Now, go out there and show Sophia who's boss."

I laughed, feeling a load of determination. I was going to take control of my life, and I was going to start with Sophia.

Just then, my assistant knocked on the door. "Alpha, Sophia is here to see you."

I raised an eyebrow, a sense of irony. Speak of the devil.

"Send her in," I said, standing up and smoothing out my clothes.

Johnson stood up, clapping me on the back. "Good luck, bro. You're going to need it."

I smiled, feeling gratitude towards my friend. With a deep breath, I prepared myself for the confrontation that was about to ensue...

Sophia walked in, showing me her phone screen with anger, and said, "Why haven't you sent the money? Why do you love to disgrace?"

Johnson and I looked at each other in disappointment.

"Hey, Sophia, if you can't greet me, I would," Johnson said, forcing a smile. "Long time, baby girl."

"Oh, sorry, Johnson, welcome back," Sophia said, giving Johnson a big smile. "And I must confess, you are looking good, dear."

"And you too, you are not looking bad yourself," Johnson said, chuckling. "You are looking good as usual, always the hit girl."

"Yeah, you can say that again," Sophia said, turning to look at me angrily. "Still maintaining my shape and good looks, that's why your friend can't stop admiring me every morning."

"Sophia, didn't I warn you not to come to my working environment?" I said with a deep, angry voice.

"Hey, but it's not my fault," Sophia said, raising her hands. "You are the one who is proving stubborn. If you would have sent the money, I wouldn't be here."

"I told you this morning that I would send it," I said, my anger boiling. "Why the rush? And you are beginning to cause noise here."

Johnson warned, "Your friend is trying to prove stubborn? Why would he be doing this to me? Did he know how many plans he made me cancel because of the money? And my girls are waiting."

"I understand how you feel," Johnson said, trying to cool Sophia down, "but he said he would give you the money. Just be patient; I trust him."

"I'm tired of being patient," Sophia said, hitting the table with anger. "Tell him to send it now, before my frustration reaches the climax, which he would not like."

I slammed my fist on the table, my anger boiling over. "That's enough, Sophia!" I Shouted. "You can't just come in here and start demanding money and yelling at me. I'm the alpha, not some personal ATM machine."

Sophia's eyes flashed with anger, but she seemed to be reining herself in. "Fine," she spat. "I'll wait. But if I don't get that money within the hour, there will be consequences."

Johnson stood up, his eyes locked on Sophia. "I don't think that's a good idea, Sophia," he said, his voice low and even. "You don't want to threaten the alpha."

Sophia rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. I'm not afraid of him."

I stood up, my eyes locked on Sophia. "You should be," I growled. "Now get out of my office before I lose my temper completely."

Sophia's face went white, but she quickly regained her composure. "Fine," she said, turning on her heel and stalking out of the office.

As soon as she was gone, I let out a deep breath and ran my hands through my hair. "Well, that was fun," I muttered.

Johnson chuckled and said. "You handle her well, bro."

I shook my head. "I don't handle her at all. She's a nightmare."

Johnson clapped me on the back. "Well, maybe it's time to start rethinking your relationship with her."

I raised an eyebrow. "What are you saying?"

Johnson leaned in, his voice low. "I'm saying that maybe Sophia isn't the right luna for you. Maybe it's time to start looking for someone else."

I felt a pang of surprise at Johnson's words. Was he right? Was it time for me to move on from Sophia?

I looked at Johnson, considering his words. Could it be true? Was Sophia really not the right luna for me?

"I don't know, Johnson," I said finally. "I've invested so much in our relationship. I feel like I owe it to her to make it work."

Johnson shook his head. "You don't owe her anything, bro. You deserve to be happy. And if Sophia can't make you happy, then maybe it's time to move on."

I sighed, feeling a bit of uncertainty. Was Johnson right? Was it time for me to move on from Sophia?

Just then, my assistant knocked on the door. "Alpha, I have some news," she said.

I raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

"It's about some investors," she said. "They are here to see you."

My heart skipped a beat. Not now? Or here? I wasn't in a good mood to see them.

I called back my assistant and told her to cancel the appointment, as my temper was boiling with anger.

"Bro, let's just leave here and go have some drinks," Johnson said, walking to the door. "Even I am very angry."

We walked out of the office, but before we could leave the office building, my assistant ran to us.

"My alpha, sorry, but Luna Sophia just withdrew a large amount of money," she said, trying to catch her breath and showing me her tablet screen. "As the description is showing, high-fashion designer bags and clothes."

Johnson and I both looked at the screen, our eyes widening in shock.

"How much more of Sophia's reckless spending can the pack afford before they start asking questions?"
