CHAPTER 74

As soon as we started approaching their camp, I could tell that we were getting close. I could hear a lot more noise and children playing. It wasn’t what I expected.

Once we came out of the treeline, I saw where they lived. It was a beautiful, magical looking place. There were no houses, but everyone around there looked happy next to the lake with a waterfall. Flowers that I had never seen before. They even moved on their own. Trees that engulfed the whole area like a large canopy with the sun shining through it wherever it could. It was a beautiful place and I was in awe as soon as I saw it.

But I soon noticed that it got really quiet, and while I was paying too much attention to my surroundings, all of the other creatures had noticed that I was there and they were all paying attention to me.

“Thaddeus. I’m so glad that you’re back.” A woman said, running up to Thaddeus. They bumped heads as their way of hugging, I was assuming.
