Thaddeus lunged for me at the same time, I dodged out of the way and I raised my hands at the same time to protect myself.

When I opened my eyes, I saw black smoke surrounding me and I wasn’t standing next to Thaddeus anymore. I was standing on the hill behind the werebears.

They were now charging at Thaddeus and his soldiers and someone grabbed me from behind.

“Who the hell are you?” I asked.

“My name is Uther. I’m going to get you somewhere safe.” He said.

“Sure. I’ve heard that before.” I said.

“Mage. Give the bears a little help.” Uther yelled. And a woman emerged from behind a tree. Her eyes were gold and she stared at the animals in the field and they were all attacking Thaddeus and his soldiers.

Uther then grabbed my hand and we started running down the hill until we got to the bottom and I saw some horses waiting.

“Are you serious?” I asked.

“Have you ever ridden a horse before?” He asked.

“No.” I said. So he lifted me onto his horse and he got on it behind
