I had let things go for a couple more weeks and I was running the pack as I knew Connor would. We were back to rescuing people but the biggest issue at the moment was trying to find places to put them all. AURORA’S POV I could still hear the screaming coming from the giants and see the flames and smoke pouring out from above the trees as I walked away with the Pegasus’. Thaddeus lunged for me at the same time, I dodged out of the way and I raised my hands at the same time to protect myself. As the creatures were scaling the walls of the castle, the soldiers were trying to shoot them down with their bow and arrows and they were successfully getting a lot of them, but there were more and more of them jumping across the fire lit mote. It took a little while for everyone to get ready and then they all gathered out the front of the stone wall that surrounded the castle. Knowing that my pregnancy was progressing like it would be in my world, I was unsure of just how long it would take for me to give birth. I could only have a week or two for all I know.
