As soon as we started approaching their camp, I could tell that we were getting close. I could hear a lot more noise and children playing. It wasn’t what I expected. Once we came out of the treeline, I saw where they lived. It was a beautiful, magical looking place. There were no houses, but everyone around there looked happy next to the lake with a waterfall. I was awake at first light, but I wasn’t the only one. A few of the others were as well. The women that were responsible for cooking for the clan. They were up and had a head start on things. I just got up and started helping them because I had nothing else to do. When I walked out of the cavern Thaddeus and his soldiers were standing there, anxiously waiting. “The last he heard, she was staying with someone by the name of Madea.” I said. “He just told you that?” Maximus asked. “No. I threw him on the bar and threatened to kill him without laying a finger on him. I wasn’t sure how long I was unconscious for, but when I started to wake up I could tell that it was still daylight. I couldn’t have been unconscious for that long. “Hello Queenie.” A deep rumbling voice said, coming up behind me. MILES POV I had successfully merged William’s pack with Connor’s pack and they were making themselves useful at the castle now. They weren’t causing any static and the ones that were still loyal to William were either killed or locked in the dungeon of the castle. And the dungeon in the castle is no laughing matter. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was massive and there was no way anyone was ever going to be getting out of that place on their own. But that didn’t matter. I had let things go for a couple more weeks and I was running the pack as I knew Connor would. We were back to rescuing people but the biggest issue at the moment was trying to find places to put them all. The village was making great progress and a lot of families had already moved into the apartments that had been built. But we were still getting reports of abuse that couldn’t be ignored and I was constantly sending more and more teams out to save the abused. I decided that it was time again to go and see Connor. To see if anything had changed with him. I didn’t have high hopes, but I knew that I wasn’t going to give up on him. AURORA’S POV I could still hear the screaming coming from the giants and see the flames and smoke pouring out from above the trees as I walked away with the Pegasus’. I tried as hard as possible not to look back and see what I had done, but it was hard with their screams getting louder and them softer. I suddenly woke up in a cold sweat and jolted up. I looked around to see Thaddeus and his soldiers were still asleep in the field that we had found to camp in for the night. Thaddeus lunged for me at the same time, I dodged out of the way and I raised my hands at the same time to protect myself. When I opened my eyes, I saw black smoke surrounding me and I wasn’t standing next to Thaddeus anymore. I was standing on the hill behind the werebears. They were now charging at Thaddeus and his soldiers and someone grabbed me from behind. “Who the hell are you?” I asked. “My name is Uther. I’m going to get you somewhere safe.” He said. “Sure. I’ve heard that before.” I said. “Mage. Give the bears a little help.” Uther yelled. And a woman emerged from behind a tree. Her eyes were gold and she stared at the animals in the field and they were all attacking Thaddeus and his soldiers.
