AURORA’S POV As I started to regain consciousness I slowly sat up and tried to look around my surroundings to see that I was in a completely unfamiliar place. The ground underneath me was hard. It was rock. Jagged and uneven rocks. The sky above me was gray for as far as I could see. There was no sign of sunshine or of life. I slowly stood up and I started looking around, only to see a large volcano in the not so far distance. I looked back down at the ground that I was standing on and I realized that I wasn’t actually on a rock. It was cold lava, and it looked like the volcano was getting ready to spill it’s guts again. As soon as we started approaching their camp, I could tell that we were getting close. I could hear a lot more noise and children playing. It wasn’t what I expected. Once we came out of the treeline, I saw where they lived. It was a beautiful, magical looking place. There were no houses, but everyone around there looked happy next to the lake with a waterfall. Flowers that I had never seen before. They even moved on their own. Trees that engulfed the whole area like a large canopy with the sun shining through it wherever it could. It was a beautiful place and I was in awe as soon as I saw it. I was awake at first light, but I wasn’t the only one. A few of the others were as well. The women that were responsible for cooking for the clan. They were up and had a head start on things. I just got up and started helping them because I had nothing else to do. I wasn’t sure how long I was unconscious for, but when I started to wake up I could tell that it was still daylight. I couldn’t have been unconscious for that long. “Hello Queenie.” A deep rumbling voice said, coming up behind me. MILES POV I had successfully merged William’s pack with Connor’s pack and they were making themselves useful at the castle now. They weren’t causing any static and the ones that were still loyal to William were either killed or locked in the dungeon of the castle. And the dungeon in the castle is no laughing matter. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was massive and there was no way anyone was ever going to be getting out of that place on their own. But that didn’t matter. We still had guards posted, just in case. I made sure that all of the pack business had been seen to when I decided to head back to Oregon and I went straight to that field where Aurora had disappeared. I had let things go for a couple more weeks and I was running the pack as I knew Connor would. We were back to rescuing people but the biggest issue at the moment was trying to find places to put them all. The village was making great progress and a lot of families had already moved into the apartments that had been built. But we were still getting reports of abuse that couldn’t be ignored and I was constantly sending more and more teams out to save the abused. I decided that it was time again to go and see Connor. To see if anything had changed with him. I didn’t have high hopes, but I knew that I wasn’t going to give up on him. AURORA’S POV I could still hear the screaming coming from the giants and see the flames and smoke pouring out from above the trees as I walked away with the Pegasus’. We got to the hospital in record time as soon as I went into labor and I could tell that Connor was panicking. And to tell you the truth, it was driving me crazy. I was taken straight to the birthing suite that was done up, just for me. A private room with all the perfect amenities that I didn’t ask them to do but no one would take no for an answer. AURORA POV As soon as I came through that portal, I knew it worked and that I was home again. I came through at the same place as when I went to the other realm. And I knew my way back to the castle just fine. I started running back to the castle, but I was slower these days with the stomach weighing me down. But as soon as I started getting that really funny feeling I started pushing myself to go faster and harder. Connor was in trouble and I needed to get to him now. As soon as I got to the castle, I saw wolves running off into the forest, but Connor was at the castle. I followed my feeling and his strongest scent around to the patio, only to see him standing on it and ready to jump off of it and kill himself. Just as I was regaining my composure from being slammed onto the stone ground of the patio I growled as I got to my feet quickly, ready to abuse and scream at whoever stopped me from getting the only release from this prison that I had been living in. CONNOR POV I was laying in bed next to an empty vodka bottle when someone started banging on my bedroom door. It took us two days to get back to Arthur’s castle, and I was surprised to see that the damage from the attack was already fixed. His men worked pretty quickly around here. Even though it had only been two days, my stomach had swollen a lot more than it was when I killed Mila. I was actually a little curious to know how far along I was now. Because I had no idea and there was no way of telling until I got home. As soon as we got to the castle we were greeted with a hero’s welcome. It had already spread across the land that the black witch was dead. And the whole realm was rejoicing and celebrating the news. “You’re a local hero around here. Are you sure you want to leave?” Arthur asked. “As much as I think this place is beautiful, it’s not home.” I said. “I know. Come on, let’s go and see what they’ve found out.” He said. So we went inside and there were people scattered everywhere over two rooms of the castle. “Your majesty.” A woman said, bowing her head for Arthur.

As the dragon and I were battling it out, it started to realize that we weren’t going to be easy prey. When it had been distracted long enough, Arthur and his men snuck around the side and used their swords to slice the dragon’s legs. It was enough to get it’s attention and it fell back slightly, drawing it fire back from me and giving me the advantage. I heard Arthur start yelling and I turned around to see Uther on the ground and Arthur’s men were surrounding him. She was just aiming towards them and hitting the building around them. So I got up and instead of using any magic against her right now, I charged at her and tackled her to the ground.
