Chapter 16 Her Lawful Husband

As Adonis's words fell, two of his bodyguards pushed Arvin aside.

All of a sudden, however, Adonis appeared to remember something, so he signaled for Arvin to come closer.

"Since you seem to have forgotten what you have done, I can help you remember."

He unlocked his phone and displayed the photos to Arvin.

As I leaned in to take a look, I was completely taken aback!

The gruesome images clearly depicted a pool of blood, and I couldn't bear to gaze at them.

Arvin's eyes widened, and he finally crumbled, whispering to himself, "I... I thought it was... chicken blood. The maid slaughtered a chicken at home that day. It couldn't be... I didn't murder Letitia.

"I never intended for this. Letty... I'm sorry, please... Come back to me..."

This time, the bodyguards didn't need to hold Arvin back. He collapsed on the ground in mental anguish.
