Chapter 15 Take Your Own Life

The skies were overcast with a gentle drizzle, the black Maybach speeding through the rainy day.

The site of my funeral lay distant from Arvin's abode. Whether Adonis orchestrated this deliberately remained unknown, yet by the time Arvin arrived in a panic, my body had already been cremated.

Clad in black attire, everyone present, Adonis tightly held an elegant, striped wooden casket, presumably containing my ashes.

I gazed vacantly at the urn.

"Am I enclosed within?" I asked myself.

This marked the second instance of confronting my own demise, my thoughts swirling tumultuously.

Disregarding attempts to dissuade him, Arvin charged in as if he had gone crazy.

"Adonis, I must see her one final time! Lead me to her! I need to see her, and..." his voice faltered, "... and our child."

Adonis regarded the delirious man with a blank expression, a sardonic smirk playing on his lips.

"So, you recall she carried your child? Then why did you treat her like that? Get out of here. Letitia
