Chapter 6 Sick of Being around Him

Arvin looked dazed, and the phone slipped from his hand, landing heavily on the floor. But he didn't react at all.

"De... Dead? The blood was obviously fake. It's impossible. It must be a deception," he murmured silently, transitioning from initial uncertainty and suspicion to a gradually firm conviction.

"She must be trying to deceive me again. This time, she is just smart enough to involve someone else. She just wants me to give in, doesn't she? Hah," he sneered cynically, picking up the phone.

"Letitia, I know you're listening. Let me explain again. I'm taking care of Debby because of your past friendship with her. Please stop your drama. I'm tired."

Maggie let out a cold, mocking laugh, exposing the truth, "Letty is already dead. Stop playing the lovesick fool."
