TAKE OUT DINNER

While the men were having a business meeting Ken received a phone call from Tina she was craving pizza especially Hawaiian pizza since she had a craving for a specific pizza with pineapple and the delicious ham taste. So Ken had no choice but to come and consult his mum about who would deliver the pizza. When he called his mum Stacy was confused about what was to be for dinner since her chef was off duty on a specific day and she was not anticipating visitors. There were some leftovers that they could have warmed and eaten but now she needed to serve a decent dinner. 

Ken called his mum and told her about Tina’s pizza craving and they decided why not order take-out dinner for everyone and enjoy a movie. They would order pizza and some roast ribs which would accompany some drinks which were available at the bar in the house. Stacy called her favorite restaurant and ordered the take-out meal to be delivered to the house by the restaurant van. She was happy that dinner issues were sorted and Ken offered to pay for it so the bill was sent to him. They found the other people relaxing in the lounge each with their drinks and Ken suggested that the ladies can watch the movie while the men would pray poker. Everybody accepted the arrangement and the ladies went to watch the movie except for Tina who was still sleeping. The movie was called “The doctor and the prince”. It was of how a spoilt Prince was made to eat a humble pie by a beautiful doctor when he was taken ill in a foreign country. The prince and his Ent rouge wanted all the patients evacuated the doctor standing on the ground insisting that the patients were to remain and that if there was anyone to move it would be the prince because he could afford better medical care. Since it was snowing heavily in the region no plane could land in the bad weather the prince had no choice but to accept the offer. He even appreciated the fact the kids in the peditriatic ward also made gifts and drawing for him. When his father saw the pictures of him giving gifts to the needy and enjoying Christmas together with them he was impressed and invited the doctor lady for a dinner on new years eve. It was so moving that despite ladies threatening the doctor lady of not being in the princess class which comprised supermodels, actresses, and businesswomen. The doctor just got fed up with the foolishness of the ladies “of class” and wanted to leave but the personal assistant to the king directed to the king's office and found the crown king waiting for her and he convinced her that she was the right woman for his son the crown prince since he had changed for the better and became a responsible man. The doctor was happy and joined the prince and the prince offered her a promissory chain which had passed on to daughters on the throne for generations. The doctor became the envy of many ladies in the kingdom and motivated the residents proving that you can also come from humble backgrounds and become a person of status. She became an icon in the kingdom and although she was a crown princess she never left her vocation which she loved with a passion. The movie was so touching that it left the ladies in tears, especially Tina who could relate her life with the doctor from a humble background to her current status of Mrs. King and even didn’t know that she fell in love with a millionaire when they met the first time. 

They moved from the theatre room to the lounge and continued drinking the red wine which was bought specifically from a winery of Ken's father and was brewed to perfection. Tina excused herself she felt sleepy which had become her issue and Lily also said she will drop her in her bedroom since she needed to pack as she was leaving with the plane at midnight. Stacy said, “goodnight ladies and Lily don’t forget what we talked”, so when they were out of sight Tina enquired from Lily what is that you discussed with Stacy she seemed so serious about it Lily replied it was all about Jimmy, and marriage and the Tina added I would love you to be my kid's godparents and especially if you are together, please give him a chance Tina said and Lily just brushed and replied it's like all of you has conspired or did Jimmy bribe you? Tina laughed and said believe me sister you’ll make a great couple. Let me go and pack sister I need to sleep it has been a long day, they hugged and Lily left when she had tucked Tina in bed. She fell asleep almost immediately and Lily smiled ooh we made you tired and kissed her goodnight on the face.

The men had their beers finished playing the poker game at midnight and all left to sleep. The ladies had already excused themselves and slept early Stacy and aunty Cherry left to sleep in their respective bedrooms and everyone went to sleep except for Lily who was packing her bags and looking at her laptop and replying to the urgent emails. That is how jimmy who popped into her bedroom found her engrossed in her laptop and she didn’t even hear him open the door and get in. He tiptoed and then went behind her back and started massaging her neck. At first, Lily was shocked and when he felt the familiar cologne and hands massaging her she relaxed and enjoyed the moment although she protested briefly you could have alerted me. No, my dear, I needed to talk to you before we slept and clear the air. I am not after you for sex but I need you as my lifetime partner Lily. I want us to give ourselves a chance to love one another and I am talking of a lifetime commitment. I have seen the way you treat Tina with compassion and love and your big heart and humbleness attracted me to you. I will wait until you are ready to make love to me but please don’t deny me the chance of giving you pleasure even though we are not physical because I want to see you happy. They hugged and Jimmy said I cannot make love to you in this house wait until I take you to my place and make you mine. They kissed goodnight and he left to sleep in his room. 

Ken found Tina fast asleep although she seemed restless he covered her and kept pillows on her back to support her until she was comfortable then he went to shower by the time he was coming back she was first asleep so he also sleeps since he had a long week ahead. He kissed her on the face and said goodnight my love and sweet dreams.
