BABY'S DAY OUT IN THE PARK

Lily stayed in the hospital for a week after for her body which was recovered from childbirth needs to regroup. She had also developed some infection which required urgent medical care. After a week Stacy and Tina came to pick her up with the princess whom they had to carry. It was all strange feeding a baby and adjusting to her sleeping routine which was changing from day to day. Changing the baby's clothing, and learning how to clean the toddler considering how delicate the baby was. Lily was learning from Tina about taking care of a baby and Tina always kept her phone near because she knew she had to get a phone call asking this and that about the baby. Tina was very grateful to assist because she was previously a candidate but lucky enough Stacy was always there to help.

The first few weeks of Lily's postpartum care were challenging as the baby was setting a routine and did not have an idea of how to sort the issues but with time she was able to learn and know what the baby prefers and she adjusted accordingly the feeding time, winding the baby time, soothing her to sleep, bottling feeding her and following her clinics and visiting the pediatrician. For the first time her hands were full she did not even find free time except when the baby was sleeping so she made the most of her free time by either putting on aromatherapy essential oils in the bathtub and relaxing or washing her hair and blow-drying it or she would go for a walk she needed a breather. The ladies in the family normally used to come and assist her in taking care of the baby her mum sally was very fond of her granddaughter when Stacy was free she would come and stand in for her or aunty Cherry who was excited that her hands were full due to babysitting. 

The nanny did a tremendous job with the princess and Lily could now leave the princess with her comfortably. After six months Lily would go for a walk especially with either Jimmy or Tina when she came. She could come with the boys and they would take the stroller and place the kids there together with the assistance of either the nanny or one of the grandmas they could take a stroll in the pack and enjoy the summer sun since they normally went early hours in the morning.

In summer they took advantage of the warm weather and sunshine and the outdoor activities were heavenly plus the fresh air on your lungs was a relief.

In the park they had some playground swings and one could sit on the bench with the baby and be pushed the boys who were to celebrate one-year-old in a couple of months loved and liked the swings and the open field and when they were brought into the park you could see the excitement and their faces turned to giggles and they had a lot of fun, great and safe outdoor activities and some welcome entertainment.

 One of the boys Eric always called princess “toto” meaning toddler and he loved praying with her, especially with her dolls making her giggle, bounce up and down with excitement, and smile at you with her two tooth smile become active and smile whenever they had gone out together.

In the park, they would spread the blanket cover the babies with a sun umbrella, and fly a kit that excited the babies, sometimes they could play music from the phone, and the babies would dance along and be getting very excited and could start moving their legs and bodies imitating the dance moves and could giggle and get excited like they wanted to fly that at times you had to pick them up and dance with them. They would play with bubbles making the kids want to follow their movement hence developing their sensory movement very well.

They sometimes needed to take the baby for a walk so they carried the sling and walked with the babies and pointed to them flowers, beautiful birds and animals or trees, and plants making the scream with excitement. They prayed balls with beautiful colors making the babies anxious to follow the ball movement until it tempted the boys to start crawling and want to move first. When it was baby’s day out you could see the excitement in the toddlers and I think the fresh air was a relief also the excitement made the babies want to move so they start crawling, giggling, and making some throaty sounds and as well as laughter which was the best medicine especially princess liked to laugh a lot.

When they left the park the babies were showered and fed and they normally had a good day’s sleep and that time Tina and Lily could cash up on their lives and happenings. After the park, since they were just the two of them Tina asked Lily when is the last time she went to a spa and Lily could not recall. So Tina suggested that on Saturday when the fathers are present she will organize to be a girl's day out, they will go for a pamper and aromatherapy treatment then go for lunch, and the men to take care of the babies. Lily suggested it's better they take the princess to her house so that Jimmy and Ken can as well watch the babies together while doing their extra work or having a beer, of course, the nanny would be present otherwise the babies would not be fed.

The girls also organized for Stacy and Sally to be on standby in case they were required for assistance. Tina went for a manicure, pedicure, full body massage, body scrub and also back massage, and hairdo. Sally had the plans the girls had so when they went to Ken’s home he asked the men if they were joining their women but they said no Sally told them you stupid sons of mine you want your women to look beautiful and be snatched from you. Freshen yourself and join them in this restaurant that is where they were going for dinner leave the kids to me and Stacy we will take care of them.  Let me find out if they are finished at the spa. Sally called Lily to find out if she is okay and Lily said they were finishing and then heading to the restaurant in the next thirty minutes so Sally told the men to prepare and join their women so they can have fun, Stacy and she and the nannies would take care of the kids. The men started thinking about it it was indeed a long time since they took their women out to have fun with the four of them.
