THE WEDDING DAY

The wedding day was about celebrating the love between the couples and also giving out an epic party for all present in the world to remember. The wedding planners kept the program brief and the speeches short and precise to give the guest time to merry, eat and drink and have fun especially dancing after the reception and met and greet with family and friends.

Early morning the designer of the dress came to the house with her team of beauticians and both brides who spent the night together with their babies and the granny’s Mr. and Mrs. Parker. The bridesmaid had spent the night at Tina’s house where the bride's party was dressing up and preparing themselves for the big day. Even the twins and princesses were going to be part of the bridal party and Ken and Jimmy had hired a Limo to carry the bridal party. The lady's dresses were purple theme although the designs were different for each lady. The twins were put on the match–match suits, they were well groomed, neat orderly, and well dressed and the suits as per the designer matched their dads' tuxedo.

The designer also brought up the bridesmaid dresses and the bridal party accessories except for the wedding jewels which were to be provided by the king's family which was the groom's family.

When the bridal party was woken up in the morning including the bride’s they were given some herbal tea which was to detox and relax their nerves. They ate breakfast and drank warm water, the bride exchanged morning greeting on text with the groom, and on the breakfast table led a prayer and thanked everyone present especially the beautician and the designers who made the ladies look beautiful and well groomed.

They were made to do a little exercise to warm and rejuvenate them. There was a massage table that was placed on the balcony where they could watch the sunrise while enjoying a massage to relax their muscles. The florist came and the bridesmaid and the bride did a flower mock-up with the florist they were asked if they had a preferred song selection to give the DJ and the performing live band and then forwarded their requests.

The ladies were told to strut down the hallway with their wedding shoes to confirm if the shoes were fitting and if they were tight a bandage would be placed at the back of the feet before the stockings to prevent blisters. The beautician and salonist refreshed the hair color, got their eyebrows well-trimmed, manicure and pedicure done, and had the final fitting of the dresses and the bride’s ladies were assisted in packing their bags for the honeymoon. 

Stacy called the minister who was a family friend regarding the marriage certificates and was assured all was well. The bridal party was all set to go to the church on time and they boarded a stretch Limousine that had sparkling wine both alcohol and non-alcoholic plus juices there was a television praying relaxing songs and a light show for the bridal party. There was also a party bus for the bridal guest and family plus other cars that were accompanying the brides. The brides made sure that the guest gift favor and gift bags which comprised mineral water, juice, and a bar of chocolate with two pieces of cake, a straw some nuts to crack. The gifts were given out to town guests from each couple and were loaded into a van for guests to receive later at the reception. There was also a list of favorite spots to visit later like restaurants, coffee shops, and nearby tourist attractions they can visit to entertain themselves.

When they arrived at the reception the wedding song was played on the piano and the boys each wheeled the rings the boys had different ribbons stuck on their suits to identify who had which rings i.e. for Jimmy and Lily and Tina and Ken. The flower girls threw petals in front of the brides who were both escorted by Mr. and Mrs. Parker.

The bridesmaid entered first in the church matching the music rhythm and moving inside one at a time then followed by the page boys and then the flower girls who were dressed in a beautiful white lacy dress and looked and put a tiara on styled hair and beautiful flat shoes with silver socks and they were made up with glitter that made the appear and look like they were small angels. The page boys' suit was neat and they had the self-confidence that made them look handsome and fit for the job they were given to do. 

The church was decorated with flowers and the wall and the seat edges and balloons were hug and banners written happy double wedding in honor of our two lovely couples Ken and Tina and Jimmy and lily.

The brides were handed over by their parents to the respective groom and the vows were said for better or for worse and they accepted to cherish each other in their future life ahead together. After the church where the minister declared them husband and wife the groom was told to kiss their respective bride and not to make a mistake and that brought a moment of laughter in the hall when the minister asked the grooms if they could recognize when they wearing a veil.

After the wedding vows were made the bridal party went to a photo session. The jacaranda tree and flowers brought a picture-perfect theme to the wedding. The brides had chosen a happy culture and made a connection with nature they were taken their photos in a green garden full of trees, and flowers and the earth had a green grass carpet and purple flowers. The purple wedding thyme was to be defined by the beautiful fragrant purple colors of a jacaranda tree and flowers symbolized wisdom, wealth, and good luck. The purple color embraced nature and the purple color brought out well the theme of the wedding and treated the bridal party to breathtaking blooms of lavender-blue flowers that cover the tree spreading the crown and then carpeting the ground beneath the tree with purple flowers in the late spring. The flowering trees added extra spark and emphasized the purple wedding theme for a beautiful tree and beautiful flowers and the beautiful bridal party.

The wedding reception was held in a garden and a live band was hired to entertain the guests with romantic music, jazz, and blues, and the guests were allowed to request their songs, they had an open bar that served cocktails popular one being blackberry and honeysuckle spritz recipe and other unique signature cocktails, sparkling wine, and beers. Next to the bar was a well-designed lounge where the guest was to boogie all night long and leave at their convenience.

The bridal lounge had a beautiful sunflower balloon shaped like a pineapple that graced the occasion and it was placed next to the wedding cake and the dessert cakes and candies were next to it with fresh juice for the people who had a sweet tooth. The iconic sunflower created sunshine and brought joy the moment you saw it and was the ideal symbol for the day.

The reception speeches were kept short and brief and the brides and grooms  had the meet and greet time with their guests and received the well-wishers and any gifts then opened the dance floor with slow music and opened the dance floor for the guests to dance and enjoy themselves and leave at their leisure.
