Chapter Sixty Nine

Vivian's POV

I thought of checking up on Elena, after all I was the one who put her in this situation. What I didn't expect to see was the moment she asked my brother who he was.

I was confused and scared. It really couldn't be that she lost her memory, could it?

I entered the room slowly and her eyes met mine and she suddenly fell back to the bed and started convulsing. She seem to be in so much pain.

"Mason, what's going on?" I couldn't help but question the man who looked like his world was being ripped away from him at the moment. I watched as he rushed to hold her in his arms with fear clear as day in his eyes and his hands trying to hold her still without using so much force to hurt her more.

All I could do was watch as it happened before my eyes, with nothing in mind and my legs stuck standing on a cigar bud.
