Chapter Seventy

Elena's POV

I could feel the memories running through my brain and my body convulsed in pain.

Williams, he kills people.

The man I vowed to spend the rest of my life with, kills people.

The memories burnt so bad as I tried to find a moment of peace but it seemed almost impossible, they wouldn't stop.

I saw the image of a man, a man who looked so familiar yet was so unfamiliar. Where do I know him from? Who is the girl beside him?

Are the memories mine or for someone else? The whole thing felt like a lie, a lie built perfectly well.

I wanted to ask them who they are, what they were doing in my memories. I didn't remember them but I could remember Williams just fine.

The way his eyes looked at me like I was his best possession and he is the monster I fell in love with.
