Chapter Ninety Five

Mason’s pov

The rain poured down as the three of us stood in front of the grave without an umbrella nor a raincoat. Instead we just stood with our heads down letting the rain pour on our frames without a word. Elena fell to her knees, her lips pale yet she refused to leave the rain.

She knelt down while Damien and I stood with our hands in our pocket, calls kept coming in from our phones but we both didn't lift up the device to even take a little peek.

Why did they call?

We knew why they called, we knew why they wanted our attention so bad.

Because of the burning company, let it burn to flames and reach the point of bankruptcy after all she was the only reason I created the company in the first place. Now she's gone, I give her the company as her farewell gift.

I took out the glass cigar box before walking to a corner which was covered from the rain and lit up the cancer stick.
