Elena's POV

“Why are you crying?” Mason asked. I walked closer to him. Worry on my face.

“Who's that, Mason?” I asked. I had a feeling it was Vivian. Oh no, she must have seen the article.

Mason looked at me, mouthing Vivian. I didn't wait for him to finish as I hurriedly walked out of the room, heading to his office to get my bag. Vivian was still a young girl and news like this could influence her mental state badly.

Getting into his office, I bumped into Rodney. “Hi Rodney. Was it you who picked Vivian up from school?” I asked impatiently as I put my phone back into my bag.

He nodded. “Yes ma'am, I did pick her up from school. Is there any problem? It's her everyday routine. She doesn't come to the company except she feels like it. And you seem rushed. Are you heading somewhere?”
