Elena's POV

I watched as Vy sat without a word while staring into space. I couldn't face her after literally telling her brother her secret. All I could do was sigh and move closer to her.

"We still haven't treated your head properly. Should we go to the hospital for that or I should have the doctor come treat you right here.

She raised her head to make me see the tears in them and they made my heart squeeze.

"I'm scared." She whispered as I rushed to embrace her.

"It would all be fine." I alerted one of the maids to call in the family doctor to come check up on Vy before moving to hold her tighter.

"Why is he so selfish? Why can't he notice my plight too for once. Everytime, work. Ain't I important Elena?"

"You are very important to him Vy. Remember he said he could burn the world if anything were to happen to you, and you know he won't lie about that."
