Chapter Fifty five

Mason's POV

"Haven't you said enough already?" She burst out while I was speaking in Vivian's presence making me pause. Vivian made up a silly excuse we both could obviously see through, before rushing out like she was being chased.

I stared at Elena with an accusing look. She could hug Vivian as she pleases but when I wanted to touch her, she was in pain.

I kept staring at her thinking she'll acknowledge my stare but she didn't even raise her eyes to meet mine. Instead she pretended like I didn't exist. How could she do that right after yelling at me.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked the girl who seemed to be in her own world. She didn't reply again.

"You must be hungry. Maybe that's why you are throwing tantrums. What would you like to eat? I'll have the guard get it for you."

"Nothing." She replied with her lips set in a thin line. What does that mean? Does she find my conversation with her annoying?

"I'll still get something in case you are hungry." I got up to button my shirt
