Elena's POV

I think he saw the disappointment in my eyes but I didn't care as I looked away without a word.

He didn't trust me enough to even tell me the little thing. Is that how thin our bond is?

So thin it could snap anytime.

We got home and when he tried to carry me, I didn't wait for him to before I rushed out of the car on my own towards the house.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He yelled immediately we got in. I looked at Vivian with a sign for her to go into her room but she didn't move from her spot and this made me grit my teeth.
