Chapter Fifty Seven

Vivian's POV

After watching the whole argument unfold, I watched my brother walk towards me. He sat down in front of me and asked the head maid to get him a bottle of red wine from the cellar.

"What made her so angry? What did you do?" I asked, but all he did was shrug. I knew he had something going on with his emotions because of his sickness but this time I was pissed.

"What did you do to her?" I couldn't help but yell at him. I knew I shouldn't yell at him but right now he seem like a stranger and Elena was more of a close sibling to me than he'd ever be.

"I did nothing." He replied but that's not what I want to hear. That's not the truth. The truth was probably that he did something wrong, wrong enough to make her have an accident, wrong enough to make her question her own sanity.

I knew how questioning your sanity feels like, and it doesn't feel good, not at all.

"You are lying." I jabbed my finger into his chest which made him frown.

"What's wrong with the both of you today?"
