Chapter Fifty Nine

Michaela's POV

I watched as my call was ignored for the seventh time. I was so angry I felt like throwing the phone on the wall.

"What does he see in her that I do not have?" My eyes burned as I walked round the room ignoring the broken vases on the floor. I heard a knock then the maid came in with her head bowed.

"What is it?" I asked with gritted teeth.

"You rejected the meal I made earlier so I made another for you."

"Get the fuck out of my room."

She quickly rushed out without another word while I picked up the phone to call someone.

"It's better to do this the hard way. You gave me no choice Mason. All you had to do was leave her alone and come to me. It wasn't that hard."

The phone rang twice before the call was picked up by someone on the other side whose deep voice penetrated through the phone.
