Chapter Fifty Three

Vivian's POV

I opened the door in a hurry. Excitement filled my lungs seeing she was awake and fine. It really did scare me when she wasn't responding earlier. Thought I was going to lose her just like I lost them.

The fear was there, more than ever before. But now, I'm happy and calm again.

I rushed to hug her but my brother stopped me.

"She is still injured. Don't touch her." I stopped in my tracks but I didn't expect to be pulled by Elena herself.

"Come here, I missed you so much." She whispered. My tensed body relax and I hugged her back.

"I said don't-"

"Haven't you said enough already?" Elena said shutting up my brother. I froze and looked from one of them to the other. What's with the cold atmosphere?

Shoot, if I don't get out of this fast I would be in trouble.

I smiled at both of them then told Elena I had something to do. I disappeared from the room real fast even though Elena tried to make me stay.
