Chapter 9 Meeting With The New Managers

"Ms. Cindy, Mr. Emmanuel, this is Katie Megan Romero. The Newbreed Theater Actress of this generation." Enrique introduced me and then I shaked with their hands one by one.

"Have a seat Ms. Romero." Mr. Emmanuel said.

"Thanks Sir." I responded.

"Ms. Cindy is the artist handler and Mr. Emmanuel will be your manager." Enrique said.

"I am super excited to be handled by them." I said as Mr. Emmanuel and Ms. Cindy are slowly nodding their heads.

"You're adorable." Mr. Emmanuel said.

"Thank you Sir." I responded immediately.

"I think you will really fit with Yanna Lanelle, we are going to have a small online show for you." I know Yanna Lanelle very much, she's my childhood friend and I hope she still knows me.

"She's my childhood friend Mr. Emmanuel." I said.

"Oh, really?" He asked.

"Yah! But I don't know if she still knows me, she became very famous already." I said then a familiar voice just get in.

"Hi Sir Emman, my assistant told me that you're looking for me, what is it?" She gladly asked and sat in front of me.

"Do you know her?" Mr. Emmanuel point his fingers on me.

"No, who is she?" She calmly asked and Mr. Emmanuel told me to introduce my self.

"I'm Kata Romero." I said because when we were a kid, she used to call me Kata.

"Oh! I'm so sorry Miss but I don't know you. Sorry." When she was about to leave, Ms. Cindy told her to sit.

"You used to call me Kata when we were kids." I said but she seems like don't remember everything.

"But now I have my own name in the industry Yanna, I'm Katie Romero." I gave my hands, gladly she hold it too.

"What are we going to do here Sir?" Yanna asked our manager.

"We're planning to have a talk show for the two of you, and I hope that you are okay with that Yanna?" She asked Yanna.

"Yeah, it's okay. Don't worry Sir. I will be very professional in this work." Yanna answered confidently. Why does she sounds like it? Is there something wrong at me?

"Thank you Yanna, you may now leave. Were going to tell you when we will shoot the first episode." Yanna smiled and leave the office. She's so elegant, the way she walk and speak. Oh my god!

"What are you thinking of Yanna?" Ms. Cindy asked me.

"Nothing Ma'am." I answered immediately.

"No, I know and we know that there is. So please tell us. It's okay." She said.

"She's so intimidating, but I hope that her attitude are still the same when were kids." I said.

"It's true that she's so intimidating right now. She's not like that before and maybe she just have problems, that's why we should reached out to her." Ms. Cindy said.

Maybe Yanna needs a friend to understand her? Well, I'm here.

"Yes, we need to begin the talk show as early as we can. Yanna are always alone at her house, she need to a person to talk to." Mr. Emmanuel said.

"I'm also her friend, what can I do for her? Can I help too?" Enrique asked.

"Yeah. Just simply talking to her, it will help a lot." Ms. Cindy said.

"Oh wait! You two are couple right?" Mr. Emmanuel asked.

"Yes sir, why?" Enrique asked, I smiled.

"Nothing." Mr. Emmanuel said before leaving.

"You're so sweet." Ms. Cindy said too before leaving.

"They like you babe." Enrique said but then I stopped him.

"Yaaahh! Thank you for bringing me here Babe." I said.

"You're play will be next week right? Are you nervous?" Quen asked.

"I'm not, but I'm nervous on the few articles now, they said that I'm two timer." I said.

"You are not two timer Katie haha, Nicko will do everything just to clean this mess, he will do that, don't worry that much." He said.

"Yeah! We should meet him today, and Gabby too." I said.

"Gabby is not in Manila right? She have out of town show, I saw the poster last night." He said, I'm shocked, Gabrielle didn't tell me.

"Really? She didn't tell me. We must go home now." I said out of frustration.

"Why? You say we're going to Nicko." He said.

"No! I don't want to see his ugly face!" I shouted.

"Yie, you like him, isn't it?" He asked.

"Enriiiiqueeee!" I shouted and then he calmed me.

"I'm going home alone! Leave me alone!" I said before getting inside my car.

"Katie... Don't leave me here." He said but then I closed the door and start driving.

"Hi Dad, where are they?" I asked my Daddy because my Kuya and my Mom are not around.

"They said they're buying supplies, you don't have supplies here anymore." Daddy said.

"Okay Dad, btw Dad, where's my little Kiko?" I asked him again cause I don't see Kiko playing around. What happened to my little cute poodle?

"He's in the bathroom baby, he bite my phone charger so I put him there." Daddy angrily said and then I ran inside the bathroom.

"Kiko.... Kiko.... Mommy is here." I said as I get him through the tiles, he looks so afraid.

"Don't worry, mommy is here already, they will not hurt you anymore." I said as we walk towards my room, he's so cold.

"Arf! Arf!" Kiko barked at Daddy.

"Hey! What's your problem?" Daddy shouted.

"Dad stop please, he's afraid." I said then Mom and Kuya already arrived.

"Oh Katie, you're here." Kuya said and then he get Kiko.

"Why are you sad little one?" Kuya asked Kiko.

"Dad beat him." I said.

"Daddy? Why? Kiko is very easy to love." Kuya pleaded.

"Because he bit my charger." Daddy explained.

"Okay. I'll buy charger, just don't bit my and Katie's little one." Kuya said.

"I will bring him to Canada." Mom said.

"No! It can't be! I don't want to see that dog! It's an animal! I'm not animal friendly." Daddy shouted and get inside his room.

"It's okay Katie, he's just having a bad mood." Mommy said.

"Wait a minute, I'm just going to buy charger outside." I said.

"No baby, I have a spare charger there, just rest. I know you are tired. Leave Kiko here. I will take care of him." Mommy said so I smiled and then get in my room.

27 missed calls from Enrique...

"Hey, why the hell did you call? Is there something happened to you?" I asked.

"Nothing. I just wanna make sure if you got home already." He said.

"Shut your mouth up!" I shouted.

"Okay fine. Sorry." He said and then I turned off the call.

"Kiko cutie." I said then carried him, Kiko have been my stress reliever this past few days.

"Arf!" His small barks really made me love him so much, he's so easy to love. I will cry if Kiko would be gone.

"Are you proud with Mommy? I have a new talent managers and a new online show." I asked him and he barked.
