My cell phone popped up with a notification and I was mortified when I saw the contents of the message.

As Maddox had claimed, it was a photo of my little boy, Mario, in a van. He had been taken.

How that was possible, I still couldn't fathom. His security was always so tight. I fucking made sure of it.

I adjusted Ophelia in my arms as I noticed the people sitting close to Mario in the van, and my fists clenched.

That lady. I could recognize her anywhere. She looked at the camera like she knew she had won at something.

A message came in and I immediately opened it, my frantic fingers swiping at my screen in a frenzy.

My wolf was getting pissed and agitated already, and the text on the screen made my blood boil.
