Two Years Later;

My hands shook, and I clenched them, as I sat on the soft plush chair, in my chambers. Staring at my reflection in the mirror, as the maids worked on my curls.

This was the day. The day I had been patiently waiting for... and I could not help but feel a mix of emotions in me.

A slight knock sounded, and the door creaked open. My breath hitched as I caught the reflection of Axel, from the mirror.

He was already dressed, in his kingly regalia, looking all dashing and handsome, I couldn't take my eyes away.

I gave him a small smile, just as the maids all dropped what they were working with, and scurried out of the room. Bowing and muttering their respects to him, as they passed by.

It was the Annual Alpha's conference, which would be held here, in the Dark Mist Wolves Pack. The previous year's wasn't held, due to some issues that were encountered, which made this, the First, after two years.
