Losing My Mind

A few Hours Earlier

I tugged at my tie, as I stood in front of the dressing mirror in the room. Annoyance shimmered over my skin, as the damn thing just wouldn't tie.

Feeling agitated, I pulled it off my neck and flung it somewhere in the room.

I shut my eyes, as I tried to rein in my emotions, but the annoyance, irritation, and paranoia, settled on my every essence, making it hard for me to form a coherent thought.

Weaving my hands through my hair, I groaned irritably, not understanding the reason for my pent-up emotions.

Resting my hands on the dresser table, I suddenly felt hands on my back from behind, and my eyes shot open in surprise until I realized I actually wasn't alone in the room.

"You need to relax, love," Olivia's voice reassured. I heaved a deep sigh, as I turned immediately to look at her, and she smiled.

She was already dressed up, in a light blue long dress, with thin straps at the shoulders. It accentuated her curves and made her eyes stand out.
