The council room fell still, watching the cuffed man hover over Enzo. Enzo’s jaw dropped as if to speak, but only uneven breaths left his mouth. Ophelia was already on her feet waiting for the events to unfold, her brain was functioning faster than she could disgust.

It was hard to take in but, Luke was drugged, he only spoke the truth. Yet, they all found it hard to understand, these simple words.

“What are you blabbing about?” Enzo finally replied, his voice quivering to some extent. “Is this a bluff? Are you accusing a member of the Council of Glaham?!”
