“Yes,” Luke said, with some sort of ease. 

The sound of the council adjusting in their seats in a notable union, they all guessed that answer from days ago. However, hearing Luke confirming it still was hard to digest. Ophelia carefully watched her brother, he still looked tired since he walked in. It was hard to say if it had gotten worse but, eventually, it would get worse. Ophelia could only imagine the questions Everett had yet to ask. Alpha Everett might be the one asking the questions, but they were agreed upon by the council, that they won’t have mercy. Even if Luke is her brother. 

“Were you involved in the arson of the Crescents in one way or another?” Everett asked again, his tone was calm as he already knew the answer, as well as the entire council.
