Rain…

The rain continued for the next two days. The sun shined behind the dense clouds, its rays escaping through the gaps to illuminate the destruction of Glaham. The horizon was a thin line of smug and debris. The rain puttered on the leaves of what remained of nature and the trees. The once bright and soothing woods ringing the mansion now resembled a ghost city.

Ophelia stood at her window, the rain drizzling down her window heavily. Her heart ached at the state of Moonglade, it reminded her of the time she returned to the Crescents after the arson. The destroyed homes, the blood-soaked streets, and the bone-chilling cold.

My heart is a mix of emotions as I bring this book to a wrap. Did I do it in the right way? I don't know, but I know that I did my best through these 2 years to bring this book to an end. I struggled with it and with my bachelor but they both came to an end! I am glad of the journey and I wouldn't change a thing. There are a few chapters left so stay tuned!
