"Can't turn?" Mavis asked, smiling.

Giving up on turning into his wolf form, Tristan's body still ached.

Definitely, his body was adapting to the decision (His wolf no longer forcing his way out)

Tristan was in pain.

But that didn't stop him from saying this,

"Shut up!" He said, forcing himself to get up.

Gosh!

His whole body hurt.

"What did you do to me?" He asked, glaring at Mavis.

He knew Mavis did something to him.

She did something to him!

"Nothing. A little pit of poison in your milk and you can't turn. Just this morning" Mavis said.

She told the lady to poison Tristan. And she did so.

Added it in his milk which he had after he woke up.

The lady told her.

The poison was supposed to put Tristan's wolf to sleep. 

His wolf asleep, he won't be able to turn.

However, from what she just witnessed, it looked like Tristan's wolf was still awake.

That's shouldn't be.

Or.....maybe the lady poisoned hi milk with something else.

But then,......she did not tell her (Mavis) something like that.

That lady! 

She never say a word when she plans something on her own!

"You!" Tristan yelled out angry.

"No, I prepared his milk and I.....I didn't do anything alpha, please believe me" Debby said. She stood beside her daughter, Mandy, looking terrified, worried.

Mandy held her mother's hand, trying to comfort her.

"I know, it wasn't you" Lvan said to her, a smile on his face.

Debby didn't do it.

He (Lvan) could bet his life on that.

So then,......who did?

"There's a spy in our pack" Jake said, looking around and everyone, except Tristan (Who was still glaring at Mavis) and Mavis (Who was smiling at Tristan) did the same.

"But who?" Rex asked.

Seriously? Why was he (Lvan) also looking around? Suspecting everyone except his family when he knew, it was an outsider.

Lvan was sure, the person helping Mavis was an outsider.

Definitely, it was the same one who released Dr Jones' friend while she (Mavis) was imprisoned.

Lvan thought, looking at Dr Jones who stood beside Dr Jerin.

Yes, the doctor was still here.

Seriously, he (Lvan) had to get him home.

Then again, he was busy right now.

He'll do it tomorrow.

"The poison still in your body, you won't turn. Your wolf can't do anything" Mavis said.

Angry, Tristan said, "You! You played dirty! Because you know I'll win right?"

"No. I did no such thing" Mavis said, looking innocent but the smile that came on her face afterwards, said something.

"What a bitch!" A male omega said, glaring at Mavis.

"I always knew she was one" a female beta beside him said.

"Never changed and never will" a male beta behind the female beta said.

Everyone stared at Mavis, angry and disgusted.

"I wanted our wolves to fight, But then,.........I don't think that'll happen" Mavis said with a wicked smile.

"This was your plan! No wonder you said you didn't need me" Her wolf said angrily.

Right!

No wonder she was blocked this morning until the fight. Mavis didn't want her to know about this.

She had already made plans with that bastard (The old man) and that witch (The lady)!

'You thought you can change. But I see that old man has influenced you more than I thought. You really are........'

"Just shut up will you? And don't say anything bad about him" Mavis yelled at her wolf.

Mavis,.......born into evil, she never tried not to become one.

Her wolf thought, disappointed in her.

There was nothing she could do and maybe, dying was the only answer.

She did not want to be one with such an evil person (Mavis)

"Let's make this a fair battle" Mavis said.

Annoyed, Tristan spoke, "Fair?! You can turn but I can't!"

"Let's fight in our human forms"

"Huh?" Tristan asked stupidly, surprised and he wasn't the only one.

The others around were as well.

Seriously?

Why wasn't the overseer saying anything?!

Mavis just said she poisoned Tristan.

Wasn't that considered cheating?

So why wasn't he saying anything about that?!

Was he okay?

The pack thought.

And now, they were angry with the overseer as well.

"We might be in our human forms but we still have the same strength and abilities as in our wolf forms"

"Oh, except, you're naturally weak!" Mavis said, smiling which angered Tristan even more.

"Shut up!" He said.

"So?" Mavis asked and he replied

"Let's do this"

With no hesitation.

Tristan was not thinking straight.

Everyone could see that.

Was this really okay?

"With pleasure" Mavis said with a smirk and the next thing Tristan knew, she was behind.

In a blink of an eye, Tristan was on the ground, coughing out blood violently and groaning in pain.

Everyone was in shock, including Tristan himself.

What happened?

They.....They only blinked! And the next thing they knew, Tristan was on the ground, a few feet away from Lvan, Alan and July.

They stared at a weak Tristan who lay on the dirty ground, surprised and in disbelieve.

What just happened?! 

Mavis,.... She was too fast.

"That's all you got?" Mavis asked, smiling.

Sitting up on the ground,  their eyes widened in shock seeing the blood on Tristan's face, his lips, mouth, knees and head.

This.......this was definitely going to be a one side fight.

Tristan could feel extreme pain in his back, chest, his whole body!

Definitely, Mavis attacked him from behind when she made her way there.

The hit was definitely strong which it affected his chest as well and he could feel his bones broke.

Gosh!

It hurt!!

"Baby! Are you okay?" Lvan asked the stupid question and even he agreed that it was a stupid question.

Wow! This was what it felt like getting beaten up by an alpha.

Never knew he'll experience this.

Hurt like hell!!

Tristan thought, forcing himself to stand up.

'We're not okay' his wolf said to him and he (Tristan) replied.

'I know, she's really strong and fast. My whole body hurts'

'Don't worry'

'Don't worry?! Don't you hurt as well?! Also! Where's the so-called alpha strength I got after taking all these pills for so long?!'

'I can't move! And I don't think is the poison. This is something else' his wolf told him.

Something else?

What could it be?

"Don't worry, the alpha mate will win"  July (Who stood beside Alan) said to him (Alan). She noticed how worried Alan was.

Alan nodded, even though he didn't believe her words.

"Ready to continue?" The overseer asked him (Tristan)

Of course he wasn't!

Also,.....his wounds were not healing quickly.

His whole body still hurt!

"I....." And before Tristan could complete his words, Mavis yelled out, "He's ready!"

And then proceed to beat him up, I mean attack him.

Tristan was punched in face, kicked, attacked mercilessly in just a minute!

The only only thing was that, this woman didn't kick where it would hurt the most.

His junior brother down there

Gosh! Tristan couldn't see her, in fact, none could see her.

Mavis was too fast.

They all watched as Mavis attacked Tristan.

Watched as he took painful hits on his face, his cute face, back, abdomen, chest.

Tristan was beaten to the ground so many times and Mavis never stopped.

She kept attacking him.

"This! This is fun!!" Mavis yelled out, laughing like a lunatic.

Now on the ground, Mavis kicked his abdomen, showing no mercy.

Blood coming out of Tristan's mouth, lips, head. 

His whole body was bruised and he coughed violently, blood coming out.

Mavis was doing too much damage at a time, so much that Tristan couldn't heal himself.

Everyone watched in horror, knowing there was nothing they could do.

"Stop!!" Lvan yelled, about to go to his mate but then, Carlos and Josh held him back.

It was hard holding Lvan back.

After all, he was the strongest wolf of them all.

That's if we count the old Chris out.

"Enough!!" Finally, the overseer stepped in, pushing Mavis back.

She stood back, hands up, watching Tristan as he moaned out in pain, bleeding.

He was dying.

And she was loving this!!

Mavis thought, smiling wickedly.

'You're cruel' her wolf said and she ignored her.

"Tristan Lang, can you still fight?" The overseer asked a stupid question.

"Of course he can't!" Jake yelled out, angry.

"She cheated! She said so herself, doesn't that count?!" Rex asked, angry.

"Mavis Cross never said she did it. And there's no proof here. My hands are tied" the overseer said, angering everyone.

"Right, I never said that" Mavis said.

"Then, how come you know the details?! How come she know the poison was added with the alpha mate's milk?" Josh said and everyone looked at Mavis.

"Yes, tell us" the overseer said.

*Sigh, Mavis sighed, "Just my theory" she said.

Theory?

Seriously?

"And you're right? Master Tristan only had his milk, nothing else! How come you........" Minna said but didn't get to finish her sentence.

"I didn't do!" Mavis cut her off, glaring at her (Mandy)

Even now, she (Mavis) still scared him.

"Ahahahah!!" Tristan screamed out, gaining everyone's attention.

Tristan looked miserable.

His face was unrecognisable.

He was in a lot of pain.

Lvan could feel it through their connection.

His mate was suffering.

"Know what Tristan, you're just a weakling. This is the very reason why I don't like omegas being male or female. They're naturally weak! And I hate that" Mavis said, angering everyone around.

Both male and female omegas were more angry.

"Shut up!!" Jake yelled at her, gaining her attention.

"You! Talking?" She said, looking at Jake, smiling.

Turning back at Tristan, she asked, "Do you think everyone loves you Tristan?"

In a lot of pain, Tristan could to find his voice to answer neither could he find the right words to shut her up.

And so, Mavis continued,

"If so, why did Jake hide this from you?"

"Huh?" Tristan asked stupidly, surprised and confused.

"Don't" Jake said, horrified.

"*Sigh, as a shame I must say. I should have used this card on you. Both of you were prisoners in your former pack. Both of you took those pills that destroyed your womb. So,....how come Jake is pregnant and you're not" Mavis said, surprising everyone (Lvan, Rex, Alan, Minna, Sandy, James, Debby and Mandy) and they turned to look at Jake (Who looked horrified)

The pack however, were confused. Carlos, Josh, July and everyone else were surprised and confused cause they did not know about this.

Mandy knew this already cause her mother, the best informant of the year, told her everything.

"What?" Lvan asked, surprised.

No wonder he smelt something different from his (Jake) scent every time he was around him.

"Jake?" Tristan called out to him, looking at his friend who looked sorry.

"The alpha mate can't give birth?" The male omega who spoke earlier asked in disbelief.

What was the alpha mate going to do now?!

"All along he knew but didn't say a word. Laughing behind your back. Feeling so happy, relief, glad!" Mavis spicy up the atmosphere with her unnecessary theories.

"Stop!" Jake yelled out, looking at Tristan who was still in shock, broken.

"That he can give birth but you can't" Mavis completed her words.

She really was hell bent on doing that.

"That's not it Tristan! Trust me, I........." Jake said but didn't get to complete his statement cause Mavis cut him off.

"A male omega, mated to a pack leader, what else can you do if you can't even give birth?. You're nothing now Tristan. You're useless. And I feel really sorry for lvan. No....actually, he's also a fool for still wanting you" she said with a smirk, angering Tristan.

And in that very moment, they watched as Tristan stood, showing no sign of being in pain. His eyes were closed, violent wind blowing, his beautiful silver hair float.

His omega pheromones were released.

However, it did not crazy the alphas and betas crazy. In fact, his pheromones screamed danger, superiority and everyone except Lvan, trembled in fear.

Lvan was surprised and truth be told, even he was struggling to keep his cool.

In just a second, his mate has become something else. Something dangerous yet..........he felt no fear.

In fact,......he wanted his mate right now, right here.

Definitely!

He was crazy!!

But everyone understood him (Lvan) right?

His mate looked so damn gorgeous right now.

"You can insult me all you want but not my lvan. Not my Alan, not my friends. Not my family, and surely not my pack!!" Tristan yelled out, releasing an overbearing pheromones, blowing all over.

Even the trees were taking the hit.

All the pack members couldn't do anything.

Their wolves wanted to submit to this great power.

And so, they all bowed down their heads.

Everyone, except Lvan, bowed down their heads.

Yes, even Alan and the overseer.

Mavis however, refused to do that.

She stood, head high as she stared at Tristan in shock.

Struggling to stand on her position.

Certainly, terrified.

How come Tristan was powerful now?

She never smelt it in his scent!

That old man never said anything to her!!

'You can't win and I can't resist this great power either. Bow before him' Mavis's wolf said and she replied, 'Never!!'

Head raised up a bit, everyone watched as Tristan's short sliver hair grown longer.

Opening his eyes, they witnessed his pale emerald eyes glow. Showing anger, thirst for blood.

In flames (Colour blue-black) but he was not burnig or hurting and they figured it was his powers.

His wolf ears, claws, tail then came out and the deities knew! He looked so damn hot!! (Lvan's thought)

All the buries, wounds on his body healed quickly until they were all gone.

Tristan, was a new wolf.

Though, still omega, he was releasing great powers.

Powers none of them had.

"Now, kneel before me' Tristan said and right away, Mavis kneeled before him.

Feeling scared, literally shaking in fear.

She had no control over her body.

Mavis could not disobey his orders.

She was powerless.

"You dare to use my son against me. You dare to use my family against me. You dare to use my pack against me!" Tristan yelled out in his alpha tone.

Suppressing everyone, including Mavis.

Terrified out of his mind, Mavis stuttered, "Fo.....For....give me!"

"I don't want to hear any of that. Kill yourself"

No!

Don't!

Mavis yelled in mind but she had no control over her body.

Her wolf had no control either.

She!

She was going to died!!

Mavis thought, horrified.

She watched in horror (Everyone else surprised) as her claws forced out.

Shaking in fear, her hand slowly made its way to her throat.

'Guess this is the end. I'll rather than be one with someone like you' Mavis's wolf said to her.

No!

No!

She couldn't die now!

Not now!!

Mavis yelled out in mind. She couldn't even find her voice to speak.

Everyone watched as Mavis slit her own throat with her claws.

Blood coming like rainfall, she fell on the ground, shaking uncontrollably.

Silence, complete silence as they stare at Mavis.

Having no control over their bodies, they watched as Mavis bled out.

In shock, horrified and......a bit proud of Tristan.

Seconds later, they couldn't sense life in her.

Mavis was dead.

Both her and her wolf.

I personally feel sorry for Mavis's wolf.

She did no wrong after all.

"She's.... She's dead" The overseer said, still in shock.

Tristan killed her without lifting a finger.

An omega, killed an alpha without lifting up a finger.

This was the first time the overseer was seeing something like this.

Noticing his mate wasn't in a great condition, Lvan called out to him, "Tristan!!" And immediately rushed to catch him before he fell down.

He stared at Tristan, his mate, still in flames, however, it was not harming Lvan.

Maybe because he (Lvan) was his mate.

Tristan's body felt so hot and his new appearance, stayed the same.

In the woods, not far from where the fight between Tristan and Mavis was arranged, the old man stood, the lady beside him.

Both looked devastated.

Knowing Mavis was already dead.

That girl, she never did her homework right!

If she did, she would have know of Tristan's hidden powers!

And.........maybe it was their (The lady and the old man) fault as well.

If they also searched deep, maybe they would have found something.

"Five years ago, I sent Mavis to spy on Moonlight cause I want it" the old man suddenly began, gaining the lady's attentions.

A warning would have just fine.

The lady thought.

"Seriously, she never listen to me. That's why she ended up dead. If only she escaped, then, she'll still be alive"

"Tell me what the plan was five years ago" the lady said and he gave her a sad smile.

"She wanted to prove herself. Make me proud, so she came up with a new plan. Discarding my orders. She wanted to do everything on her own" he said.

Looking up at the blue sky, he continued,

"She planned on gaining the pack's trust, love and respect. And then, she'll find out a huge secret that'll force them to give me Moonlight Pack. However, it didn't go as planned. No one liked her cause she was a stranger. They were suspicious of her, thinking she has come to cause them harm. But then, Mavis never gave up"

"That's like her" The lady said, smiling and he smiled as well.

Right, that was more like Mavis.

He thought before continuing.

"And then she met Lvan, the young master and heir to the throne. Immediately, she got a new plan. Marry Lvan, get everyone to trust her. Manipulate Lvan to get rid of his father and take the throne and then, she'll be the alpha mate. Afterwards, she'll kill lvan and all the family members. Kill anyone who have the right to sit on the throne. Being the alpha mate, she can easily rule. Withj the people's acceptance there won't be any problem. I thought it was a good idea so I supported her. But then, nothing went as planned. The pack still didn't accept her even though she was dating the heir. Even though she married him. And so, she decided to use fear to get their acceptance. She showed her worst self but nothing changed. And then, she found out she was pregnant. Mavis was devastated, thinking her plans will fail. She even tried to get rid of the child more than twice. Finding out this, I decided to help her"

"What did you do?" The lady asked when he went quiet on her.

"Keep the child, the future heir might be of use' I told her and she kept my words. Did exactly what I said. If the child was born, she can easily manipulate him. Use him to get everyone's acceptance. I mean, who will ignore a cute kid?"

"Well, didn't go as planned, right?"

"Very funny" he said, smiling.

"Yes, didn't go as planned. Mavis was impatient and she showed her true self to lvan, ruining her plans"

"So you called back" she said.

"Yes. And she was devastated. Disappointed, felt like a loser. A useless child"

"I understand now. I actually thought she really fell in love with lvan, but looks like it wasn't so"

Seriously!

All this and she didn't know?!

"Knowing she'll fail no matter what. I contacted our friend, Delmar. Luckily, he agreed"

"And you two conspired. Attacking Moonlight. I was there remember? We watch as those vampires attacked Moonlight"

"But you didn't see to the end"

"And you never told me why we lost. That vampire, Delmar and his men were the best! How come they lost?" The lady asked, annoyed.

"Lvan, Roy, Chris and Colten were too strong for them. And I say, the strongest are Chris and Colten. The oldest wolf and dragon. They're older than me" he said.

"And you look so old and they look so young! How's that possible?" She asked and he ignored her question.

The old man didn't want to talk about that (Why he looked old and Chris and Colten looked young, even though he was a pure wolf)

"We lost the war. And years later, Mavis found out Lvan was now the pack leader. She believed this was her second chance. She could do this. Alone. She could prove herself. Make me proud and she begged me. I agreed. We didn't tell you anything because she wanted to do it alone"

"Even her wolf didn't know right?"

"Yes" The old ma replied.

"So, what was the plan this time?" She asked.

"Same as it was five years ago. However, It was slightly changed. Mavis came back playing sick and she earned everyone's trust, respect and acceptance. What she couldn't gain five years ago. And just like I said, Alan helped. 'What the deities have arrange, no one can destroy' I told her this because she planned on ruining Tristan and Lvan's connection"

"And Tristan repeated the same. It didn't work"

"Right. Get rid of Tristan. Become the alpha mate, kill everyone who has the right to the throne"

"Alan, Rex, Jack and Marie" the lady said.

They were the ones who had the right to throne if Lvan died.

Jack (Lvan's father) used to rule but it didn't matter. He wasn't dead and only retired and gave the throne to his son.

If he (Jack) wanted to rule after Lvan's death, he could.

If Lvan really ended up dead, Alan won't be able to take the throne cause he was still young.

Meaning, Jack, Marie (Lvan's mother) or Rex could rule in his (Alan) place.

Until he (Alan) was old enough to rule and wanted to rule.

"Exactly. Afterwards, she'll become the pack leader. The pack won't notice anything and before they know, she'll give me Moonlight. When asked (By the council of elders) if they all agree to this, the pack will have no choice but to agree"

"Why?"

"She'll take every precious thing they have and use it against them so they'll agree"

"That.....That was an amazing plan"

"Yes, but she got caught"

"And then she wanted to use Alan and get free. She'll stay in Moonlight and continue her plans" the lady said, catching up.

"Yes, but that failed as well" 

"And she ended up dead"

"Hmmm" the old man replied.

"I swear I gave Tristan the poison Mavis told me to. So how come it didn't work? His wolf was supposed to fall asleep. He's naturally weak, meaning, he'll lose the fight. But it didn't happen"

"There's something far more powerful in Tristan's blood. That's why the poison didn't work" 

"Yes. I forgot he used to take those pills as well" she said.

She really forgot about that.

"So, what now?" She asked but before she could get a reply, her phone which was in her pocket, vibrated.

Taking the phone out of her pocket, she realized she had a message.

Immediately, she read it.

What?!

She thought, surprised.

"The witch is dead" she said in shock, looking at the old man who wasn't surprised.

"I figured. Chris and Colten are coming back. Make sure you stay away from them" he said.

"Why?" She asked.

"Cause they're far more powerful. Stronger than the two of us" the old ma said.

Stronger than the two of them?

That couldn't be.

"But old man four stabbed him (Colten)" she said 

If that old man could do it, that meant she could do more, right?

"Cause he was in protective mode. He was only thinking about Chris' safety. Saving him" the old ma said.

Okay, then, what about......

"The witch trapping him (Colten)?" She asked and he answered,

"Because he wanted to"

What?

Colten wanted that old witch to trap him?

He allowed himself to be attacked?!

Why would he do that?!

Also..........

"If you know this, why didn't you warn her?" She asked, annoyed.

They just lost a strong comrade.

"I did. Believing in herself and her magic, she did not heed my words. That witch was just so full of herself" he said, shaking his head.

Well, now they know, none of them can match Colten's strength.

They have to find another way to deal with him.

"So, what now?" The lady asked, drawing him out of his thoughts.

Staring at nothing, he answered, "Get Mavis's body and tell the organization. 'The experiment was a success. They should come for Tristan and make sure he suffers"

"You.... What about Chris and Colten? They're coming back" she said.

Enraged, he looked at her, yelling out, "I don't care!! He must pay for it! He dared to kill my daughter!!"

"Okay, as you say" the lady said.

His eyes were red again.

This wasn't good.

He must to lose himself to that dangerous wolf within him.
