Morning (Around 10am)

Entering the house with Carlos, Devlin came to a stop, surprised and in disbelief.

He was meditating when Carlos knocked on his door, calling him out.

He said Dr Jones and Even were back.

Surprised, in disbelief, he rushed here and true enough, they were back.

How did they get here so early?

Dr Jones said earlier, they're arrive back this evening.

And far as he knew, it wasn't evening.

Was morning!

Also......why did Even have that depressed look on his face?

Devlin thought, staring at his mate.

Even sat with Dr Jones, looking depressed, horrified. Josh behind them.

Tristan shared a couch with his mate, Lvan and Chris.

The couch, was opposite the one Even and Dr Jones sat on.

Colten couldn't make it cause it was his turn to take care of Jake.

Just like they (Chris and Colten) arranged.

"Even, what's wrong?" Devlin asked, already worried as he made his way to the couch beside the one Tristan, Lvan and Chris shared.

He took a seat, staring at his mate (Even), worried, concerned.

What was going on?

Why was he (Even) quiet?

Why won't he (Even) answer him?

"Leave us" Lvan said in his alpha tone.

Knowing their alpha was talking to them (Carlos and Josh), immediately, they left the house.

Deciding to keep watch outside. 

"Even" Devlin called out to him, already desperate.

He did not like this.

He did not like the mood Even was in.

What happened?

"Why are you back so soon? I thought you'll back in the evening" Devlin said.

Well, not like he was complaining.

It was good they (Even and Dr Jones) came back earlier.

He missed his mate so much.

However,....... He did not like the condition Even was in.

"Well,........we got there earlier and my friend dropped everything and helped us" Dr Jones answered.

"What happened? Even doesn't look good" Lvan said, worried about his friend (Devlin) as he stared at him.

"Well........" And before Dr Jones could say another word, Carlos interrupted.

Entering and calling out to Lvan, "Alpha!" a surprised look on his face.

"What is it?" Lvan asked, annoyed.

"There are two people here. Saying they're......"

"My parents" Even said cutting him (Carlos) off his words, a horrified look on his face.

"Your parents?" Tristan asked, surprised and he wasn't the only one.

Devlin, Lvan, Dr Jones and Chris were as well.

Even could smell their scents.

He could smell them.

They were here.

Here!

"They're here" Even said, horrified, terrified, shaking in fear.

Devlin did not like this.

He did not like this.

His mate looked so terrified.

He was literally shaking in fear and there was nothing he could do.

Nothing!

Devlin felt so useless at the moment.

"Let them in" Lvan said.

"No! Don't!" Even yelled out, horrified, scared.

But then, his wish was not granted cause his parents made their way in anyways.

Yep!

They forced their way in and Josh who could not stop them, followed after them, yelling out, "Stop! You can't go in"

However, it was already too late and they were already in.

"Why not Even?!" His mother voiced out and the anger in her tone couldn't be missed.

Turning to the direction of the front door, Devlin saw Even's parents for the first time and he was in shock.

Even's mother was a beautiful woman.

Seemed to be in her late 30s but they all knew she was far from that.

Being immortal concealed a lot.

She had beautiful dark black hair and dark blue eyes.

His father, was a good looking man.

Tall and big.

No, he was not fat.

Not fat people!!

Seemed to be in his early 40s and him too, they knew he was far from that.

Had short brown hair and grey blue eyes.

And they (Dr Jones, Lvan, Tristan, Carlos, Chris and Josh) could see Roy had his eyes while Even had his mom's.

They (Lvan, Tristan, Chris, Carlos and Josh) could smell them.

Both were alphas and they looked strict.

Angry look on their faces and they could tell this wasn't going to end well.

David and Camila, these were Even's parents?!

Devlin knew them!

He knew them but they did not know him.

Goodness! This was way too coincidental! 

"Camila Truth. And this is my husband, David Truth" Even's mom, Camila introduced herself and his dad.

Yep, the woman dropped her maiden name when she married or mated her husband.

"W.....What.... Are you....doing here?" Even stammered, finding it hard to speak normally.

Deities! He was so scared! So scared!

"Is this the way you talk to your parents? Is this what I taught you?!" His mother said to him, glaring at him.

Just like every time he was before his mother, once again, Even felt small. Like a loser. Like a failure.

"I'm sorry" he apologized and Devlin, was burning with anger.

How dare her talk to his mate that way?!

He was this close....

This close to ripping off her neck and sucking her blood dry.

Mother-in-law or not, she did not talk to his mate that way.

"And what's this? What's this I smell? omega? A male omega? I hate those things. So disgusting" Camila said, a disgusted look on her face.

Okay, now Tristan was angry.

About to get up and give the woman a piece of his mind, Lvan held his hand, stopping him.

'Calm down Baby' Lvan sent him a link.

'Calm down? How dare she say such words in my presence?!' Tristan said to him angrily as he glared at Camila

"Who's the alpha?" David asked, a deep frown on his face.

Angry, using his alpha tone, Lvan replied, "I am" and David and Camila looked at him.

"I can see that. Your tone says it" David replied.

"And you're mated to this male omega?" Camila asked but it was more of a statement and she looked at Tristan when she said that.

"Tristan Lang Ash. That's my name" Tristan replied, glaring at Camila while Lvan stared at his mate, surprised.

This was the first time his mate used his surname on his name.

Surprised but happy.

Lvan thought, smiling at his mate. 

"Fags! They'll all fags!!" Camila said in anger.

"Even!" Camila called out to Even, startling him. 

"What kind of people are you mingling with?! These fags! Stay away from them! You know I hate them all!!" Camila yelled at him, scaring him.

"And I see why Even despise you" Tristan countered, rolling his eyes.

"What?!" Camila yelled out, glaring at Tristan.

"M......Mom...."

"Talk properly!!" His mom yelled at him (Even), scaring him.

Having enough of this, Devlin spoke out, "Don't yell at him!" His eyes glowing red. His claws and fangs out as he glared at Camila.

"A vampire" David said, staring at Devlin, a deep frown on his face.

He sensed him earlier but didn' think he was that important.

His behavior...... What was his relationship with his son?

"I have no problem with vampires but if you cross the line, you'll see the other side of me" David said to him (Devlin) glaring at him but Devlin paid no heed to his words.

"Get up Even! We're leaving now! You haven't been taking those pills, right? Your scent is still that of an beta's! I gave you a bit of freedom and you took extra miles?! Get up! We're leaving now!!" Camila yelled out.

Terrified, Even got up, shaking in fear.

"He's going no where!" Tristan, Lvan, Chris, Dr Jones and Devlin yelled back as they all got up, glaring at the two (David and Camila)

At this moment, Josh got a call and he went out to answer it.

"What's this?! Is this how you run your pack alpha?" Camila asked angrily, staring at Lvan.

"You didn' even welcome us when we came" she (Camila) said,

"That's because you're not welcome" Tristan replied and she glared at him.

Ignoring his words, she continued, "Then even give us seats"

"That's because you started talking nonsense. Annoying us" Tristan replied again. Having enough, she yelled at him, "Shut up!"

"No! You shut up!" Tristan yelled back and they stared at each other, glaring fiercely at each other.

Well, hell was about to break down.

"We only want our son back. He hasn't been taking the pills, is bad for him" David said, a serious look on his face.

"Those pills? What kind of pills are those?" Lvan asked, using his alpha tone. 

These people were so annoying!

Arrogant!..................

He (Lvan) had to show them who was the boss here.

It was his pack.

And he was the alpha.

They couldn't talk anyhow with him or his people.

"You don't know this boy! What he is" David said, pointing a finger at Even whose eyes widened, shaking in fear.

"He's a wolf. A beta, that's what he is" Dr Jones answered.

"He's no beta! Don't talk like you know everything human!" David yelled at Dr Jones, his eyes shone in anger and his tone said it too.

"And I thought humans and paranormal beings now get along. Your behavior towards me is saying something else, David" Dr Jones said, calm, making David even more angry.

"Don't call me by my first name. We're not friends" David said, glaring at him.

Well, Even had one hell of parents.

He (Dr Jones) must say.

How the heck did he live with them for so long?

"Even! Let's go! You need to take the pills" His mom said, and Even was so afraid.

So afraid of his mother, he wanted to drop everything and go with her.

Go with them (David and Camila)

"We know what those pills do. And he won't be taking them again" Lvan said angering the two (David and Camila)

So, they already knew about those pills.

This wasn't good.

David thought, glaring at them (Tristan, Lvan, Chris, Carlos, Devlin and Dr Jones)

"No! He'll be taking them and he'll be taking them now! We can't have an omega as a son! Our son (Even) is an alpha. That's what he'll be!" Camila yelled out, surprising Devlin, Tristan, Chris, Carlos and Lvan.

They stared at Even (Who bowed his head in shame), surprised and in disbelief.

Dr Jones was not surprised cause he already knew this.

The test they did on Even proved it.
