Colten: Come on, don't be sad. I'm sure someone out there likes you.

Jake: Exactly! You're beautiful! Amazing! Who won't like you?

Author: Thanks you two. I feel better now. You two, are my favorite characters in this book.

Chris: I have a bad feeling.

Author: You better. Cause your punishment is on its way.

Chris: Please show mercy.

"Rex"

"Hi brother. Is noon"

And that's why he (Rex) called.

Rex promised to call three times a day after all. He already called this morning and now that it was noon, he decided to call, again.

Gosh, doesn't he get tired?

"Yeah, is good you called" Lvan said, smiling even thought Rex wasn't here to see. Then again, you don't have to smile only when there's someone around.

Right?

"Is there any news?" Rex asked.

He heard from Tristan and Jake about what was going on. Sebastian, Corey and Colten going on the mission, no news from them and about Cabby and Andrews.

He was also worried (About Colten, Corey and Sebastian) but not that worried because he believe the three could take care of each other, themselves.

Cabby and Andrews, he was very worried about them. He hasn't known Cabby for long and didn't know if she can take care of herself, protect herself and her son.

"No,..... no news" Lvan said after a sigh. 

"I'm really worried about them. The mission, Cabby and Andrews"

"Yeah, me too. Should...... Should I come home?"

Now that would be great but then,........

"Only if you think you're ready. We're all waiting for you but please, take your time"

"Okay" Rex said and his brother smiled.

Lvan wanted Rex back. He needed him a lot more than he (Rex) thought.

Dealing with all these issues.......

Even, Sebastian and the others, the mission, Cabby and Andrews was taking a lot out of him. He needed help, he needed his genius brother.

He knew so, his wolf did as well.

Moreover,.......... maybe, he'll finally get to know why his brother fell into depression after coming back from Rid Pack. 

Lvan believed, the only way for Rex to feel better was to share exactly what happened with someone.

And that someone could be him, his mate (Tristan), son (Alan), Jake, their parents or someone closer to their family.

Rex hasn't said a word. Lvan knew, because he asked his parents and they told him so.

This wasn't good and it won't help Jake in any way unless he spoke out.

"Then, I'll look forward to seeing you"

"Great" Jake replied and Lvan could imagine his brother with that sweet beautiful smile of his.

He couldn't wait to see his brother.

 Seated on one of the couches in the living room while facing his (Tristan) son and his friend, Tristan watched them, okay, more like he watched July, a smile on his face as they (Alan and July) talked.

July was a five year old kid with black hair and blue eyes. She was beautiful and so cute. So cute that, Tristan couldn't take his eyes off her.

He wondered, if he ever gave birth to a baby girl, will she be this beautiful and cute like July?

........... And this thought depressed the hell out of him. Tristan still couldn't bring himself to accept the fact that, he'll never be able to give birth.

"July, are you sure about this? Do you really want to stay for the night?" Alan asked his friend. He personally would love to have July here but, was it really okay? 

He turned to look at his dad who was staring at him with a smile.

Right, he has not introduced his dad to July yet. So stupid of him! He should have done this right when July came over.

Right when his dad joined them.

"Dad, July" Alan called out to his dad and friend, looking at them one after the other.

"I'm sorry I didn't do this earlier"

Getting the message,

Tristan smiled, assuring his son it was okay.

Alan looked sorry and Tristan didn't blame him.

When one gets lost in a beautiful world with someone they treasure, they forget about everything else.

Alan was no less. He was no less.

"Is okay Alan"

"Yes, is okay" July said, trying to wipe that sorry look off his face.

July didn't think it was Alan's fault that he forgot to introduce them to each other.

She only blame herself. 

If only she did not keep Alan busy with her stories (What July and her parents experienced when they travelled out of town) then he wouldn't have forgotten about it.

"And, is all my fault. I kept talking" July said with a sad expression, looking down.

Almost immediately, Tristan turned to her direction. He found himself hating that sad expression on the kid's face.

"No, is not your fault either. Is okay" Tristan said, trying to assure the kid that it really was okay and that it wasn't her fault. 

Tristan succeeded, because slowly, July nodded accepting his words.

"Great!" Tristan exclaimed, smiling as he looked at his son. "Now introduce us Alan"

Alan nodded, smiling. "July, this is my dad. He's my daddy's true mate and he's also the alpha mate. Dad, this is July, my first friend" Alan introduced them to each other and they (Tristan and July) looked at each other, smiling.

"Pleasure meeting you July"

"Same here" and they continued to smile at each other.

Suddenly, July remembered something important.

A very shocking information and right now, she was even having second thoughts about sharing. She wondered if Alan and the alpha mate will take it well when she did.

"What's wrong July? You look worried" Tristan asked, looking concern for the girl.

July did look worried and she was worried. But, she couldn't shut up her mouth. The news was just a second away from coming out and though she was having second thoughts (About saying something), she couldn't stop the information either.

One can say, July had a very, very big mouth.

And her wolf wasn't helping either.

'Tell Alan. Tell them. A good friend never hides something important' her wolf repeatedly said.

She was getting tired of hearing this from her wolf and so she accepted defeat.

'I give up' she said to her wolf and her wolf replied, 'Good'

Looking at Tristan and Alan, July smiled awkwardly, saying, "I'm okay, is just that........" And she looked down.

She was struggling to say whatever she wanted to, both Alan and Tristan could see. 

And it made them more curious to know.

'Go on July, you're doing the right thing' her wolf encouraged her to.

After a deep breath, July spoke

"On our way back, I and my parents stopped at a humans town. There, we met......." July looked up at Alan, then Tristan before saying, "Alan's mother, Ms Mavis"

Both Alan and Tristan's eyes widened in shock and they were even more shocked when July let out another big news, "She said she's coming back for Alan"

"What?!!" Tristan exclaimed in shock. Fear, anger and concern, running through him

Taking the best of him.

Mavis, his mate's ex-wife, was coming back.

Chris and Jake lay down on their bed, staring at the ceiling while, holding hands.

They were thinking about their mate, Colten who hasn't called or sent them news about his well-being or the mission.

They were really worried about him. So much that they haven't been able to eat or sleep well for the past weeks.

They didn' get any sleep all night.

What was going? Was Colten okay? Was he eating well? Was he sleeping well? They couldn't help but have all these questions and more in mind.

If Colten would call them just once, then they would feel a little better.

They missed Colten, so much.

"Chris, do you think Colten is okay?" Jake asked and he sighed, before answering,

"I don't know kid, but I sure hope so"

"I miss him, so much"

"Me too" and silence blew again, both of them lost in their own thoughts.

It took about three minutes or so, Chris spoke, breaking the quietness in the room.

"Jake"

"Yeah"

"You used to take those pills too right?" If Chris remembered correctly, he was told no one knew about Jake being omega except Tristan's family, the alpha and their betas. Which meant......

"I did....... I......wait"

Exactly! If Tristan used to take them and can't give birth anymore, which meant, Jake was also in the same situation!!

Shit!!

"I can't...... give birth as well?" Jake exclaimed, looking horrified.

What the.......

He (Jake) totally forgot about this!!

How could he?!

................hold on a minute,.......he just remembered something.
