'Go see him'

'Go see him! Why is that so hard for you?!!' Even's wolf shouted at him.

In the living room, Even sat on the couch, lost in thought.

'He's back'

'He's back'

That's literally all he was thinking.

Even looked much better.

His eyes were normal.

Scent normal (Beta scent)

No claws out.

Hair, body, he looked clean and that's because he took a 2hours shower.

He really outdid himself.

Anyways, he looked clean, fresh.

All dressed up.

Handsome.

Now, all he had to do was to go to the main house. And then, he'll get all the answers.

Last night, he heard from Kel.

A guest was in town and the people did not like him.

This wasn't any big news cause they always welcomed outsiders in town and treated them as guests.

However, they don't stay for long.

Some stop by to eat, drink and then they leave.

Some rest for a night.

Longer, two days.

This wasn't big news.

But then, the expression Kel gave him.

The smile on his face said a lot.

Said something else.

And he,........did not want to believe that, yet.

Jeol was a human but had the ability to see the future in his dreams.

Well, he (Even) think it was something like that.

And Kel!

Poor guy must be devastated concerning what just happened.

Anyways!

Kel, was a half wolf and a half wizard. A day after his illness came back and he was going crazy, Kel decided to use his magic and find out the future of the pack and his life.

That's when he also saw the future.

About him (Even)

Just like Jeol.

When both came to his house for the first time, they both said the same thing,

"Your mate is coming"

The man also said he was coming.

He said he was here.

This said a lot.

And he believe he was here.

But then,......was this person really his mate?

Since the moment he heard from him that he was here, Even hasn't smelled his presence or felt his scent.

And he knew,....... He only had to go to the main house, find out who this person was.

Well, he didn't know if the person was staying in the main house or not, but then, he could find out from the people in the house.

It wasn't going to be hard.

Yet!

He could not leave the house.

Too nervous, anxious to do that.

What if the person wasn't his mate?

What if the person wasn't the same one he has been smelling and feeling, hearing from?

What if.......

'Enough! Just go!' His wolf yelled at him, angry.

Guess, he has no choice.

He'll find out.

Time (Around 10am)

Entering the house, Tristan (Who was back home and was in the living room, seated on one of the couches), immediately looked at Even as he closed the door behind him.

He was thinking Kel when Even entered, gaining his attention.

"Hi, it's been a while" Even said, smiling.

Yes, it really has been a while.

After Mavis's return, he didn't get the chance to see him.

And now that was she gone, he was planning on visiting him after work.

But then, Kel broke the awful news, putting him in a horrible mood.

And so, he decided to come back home.

Staring at Even, he (Tristan) thought,

By the way,......Even looked much better.

Like his usual self.

Tristan hope, he won't change again.

That Even, was so not like him and he couldn't bear seeing him like that.

In pain.

Suffering.

"Where's everyone?" Even asked, taking a seat on the couch opposite the one he sat on.

Why?

Why was he (Even) so nervous?

Tristan could smell that from him.

Also,........there was something strange with his (Even) scent.

Yes, he was giving off beta scent.

His true scent.

But then, Tristan could smell something else.

Something familiar yet hard to point out.

"Tristan" Even called out to him, drawing him out of his thoughts.

Putting on smile, Tristan said, "Hello to you too. And.......everyone is kind of busy right now"

"Lvan?" 

"Lvan left with Josh to send off Dr Jerin" Tristan said and a confused look covered his (Even) face.

Dr Jerin?

Who was that?

Come to think of it,.......Josh came over for one of those pills, saying Lvan asked for it.

Why?

No one told him anything.

Well,......he did know Zane and Chris went to save Colten, Sebastian and Corey.

They were trapped in a witch's house, he heard from Jeol.

He also heard from him (Jeol), Mavis came back and about her getting killed by Tristan, he heard from Kel.

Even so,.....he still believe he did not know all that transpired while he was going insane. 

In that state, he couldn't sense or feel anything besides his wolf and the pain he felt.

And then the man came, and all he could think about was him and the possibly that, he might be his mate.

Just like his wolf repeatedly said.

Anyways!

He'll find out later.

"Rex......I don't know what's wrong with him but......he has locked himself in his room" Tristan said.

Well,.......that was another topic he (Even) had to find out.

"Minna and Sandy,......they're not feeling well so they're resting. Debby, Mandy and James went out. Maybe to spend time together or something. Jeol, is also not well, so,.....he's also resting. Alan is still playing with July and Lucy. They (Alan and Lucy) went over to her (July) house. Jake,.......well, turns out he's pregnant"

"What?!" Even asked in shock.

Another news!

Shocking one!

Jake was pregnant?!

Seriously?!

"Yes. He's also resting. Chris and Zane went to save Sebastian, Colten and Corey, they're not back yet"

"Yes, I heard about that" Even said.

"Well, that's all" 

What?

No way!

That was not all.

There was still one thing he (Tristan) hasn't told him.

What he wanted to hear the most!

After nervously licking his lips, he asked, "What.... What about the guest?"

"'Oh! He! Hasn't come out of his room yet. The other one as well" Tristan answered, smiling.

"There are two? Staying in this house?" He asked, surprised. 

Kel did not tell him about that.

"Yes. They're Fred and Devlin" Tristan said.

At the mention of Devlin, Even felt his heart skip a beat.

Nervous and heart beginning to race, Even could not let out another word.

What?

What was happening to him?

Even asked himself, confused.

His heart was racing uncontrollably.

His mind was blank.

His insides were burning up.

Suddenly, he felt hot.

Feverish.

What the hell was happening to him?!

"Even" a familiar voice called out his name and Even, froze in place.

His heart beating like crazy.

Insides getting hotter and hotter.

Wolf, screaming out some words he couldn't hear.

All Even could think about was the voice.

The voice.

The presence he was feeling.

The sweet scent he was smelling.

All that,...... Was the same.

What he felt, heard and smelt in his house while he was going crazy, locked up and what he was feeling, smelling, hearing now, was the same.

It was the same!

And his body felt uncomfortable right now.

He.....He had to leave!

He thought and immediately, got up and rushed out.

Looking confused, uncomfortable, distressed.

He (Even) did not spare him (Tristan) a glance.

Did not bother to look at the person he desperately wanted to see, meet.

All he wanted was to get out of this house.

Run from the presence of the other person.

And he got what he wished for.

No one stood in his way.

"What....... What just happened?!" Tristan asked himself, confused.

Knowing whose voice it was that he heard, Tristan looked on his left and there, he found Devlin standing on the stairs, looking hurt.

Broken.

Disappointed.

His eyes said it all and Tristan was in shock.

Deities!

It wasn't what he (Tristan) was thinking, right?

He thought and watched as Devlin hurriedly made his way from the stairs, heading for the front door.

He looked worried, determined as he left.

Definitely, it was exactly what he was thinking.

Devlin, the vampire, was Even's mate.

And it looked like he (Even) hasn't realized this.

His mate, was a vampire.
