Elena’s POV

Alex's expression turned cold, his eyes glinting with arrogance. "How dare you, Elena," he sneered. "You think you can come at me with your accusations and your insults? I'm the one who's been generous enough to share my life with you, to give you a home and a sense of belonging."

He stood up, towering over me. "This is my house, Elena. My domain. And you'll do well to remember that. I'll decide who I love, who I play with, and who I discard. And right now, you're on thin ice."

His voice dripped with condescension. "You should be grateful for the time we've spent together, for the experiences I've given you. But instead, you repay me with spite and venom. Well, let me tell you something, Elena. I don't tolerate disrespect. And if you continue to speak to me like that, you'll find yourself out of my life. Permanently."

He turned away, dismissing me. "Now, I suggest you mind your words and your tone. I'm not someone to be trifled with."
