Elena’s POV

“How about going on a trip? We need to get out of this city for a while. Take a break from everything. Just the two of us”.

“Bonnie not again, I don’t know if I’m ready for that yet. I’m still in bed and you want us to go on a trip?” I questioned her.

“Common Elena, it is just a normal girls' trip. I need you to stop thinking about anything negative for now. Big head”. She teased me. “We can go to the beach, relax, and just enjoy each other's company. No Alex, no drama. Just us.

“That sounds nice though ”. I included.

“I'll start making plans! We can leave as soon as you're discharged from the hospital”. Bonnie responded excitedly.

“You're not going to give me a choice, are you?” I teased her

“Nope! I'm taking charge of your recovery, my friend”. She boasted.

We both burst into laughter at least for a moment in my life. I became happy again after the whole drama that has been happening lately.

“Thanks, Bonnie I don’t know what I’d do without you”. I told her tearfully.

“
