Elena’s POV

As we kissed, the studio door burst open and a woman stood before us, her eyes blazing with anger"Alex, what's going on here?" She demanded.

My heart sank, and I felt a pang of jealousy. Who was this woman, and what was her relationship with Alex?

"Mom, this isn't what it looks like," Alex began, but she cut him off.

"Don't lie to me, Alex! I saw you two together, and I know what's been going on!"

My mind raced as I tried to process the situation. Alex's mom? What was she talking about?

"Mom, please understand—" Alex tried again, but she interrupted him once more.

“I’m not in for your explanation this time around “. She sighed in anger as she gave me a devilish look.

"No, Mom, you need to understand. Elena, here, is not who you think she is."

My heart skipped a beat on Alex's response to his mom but I maintained my composure.

“Alex please what’s going on here and who is she? And who is not who she thinks she is?

“Oh… Elena this is my mom, and mom this is Elena, my friend”
