Alex’s POV

“Please don’t get mad at me, I'll be there as soon as possible”. I said to Kalyan.

I arrived at the coffee shop, my heart racing with anticipation. I knew I was taking a risk by meeting Kalyan in secret and lying to Elena, but I couldn't resist the pull of our forbidden love.

As I entered the dimly lit coffee shop, I saw Kalyan standing in the shadows. Her eyes gleamed with a knowing look, and I felt a flutter in my chest.

"Alex, my love," she said, her voice low and husky. "I've missed you so much."

I took a step closer, my heart pounding in my chest. "I've missed you too, Kalyan. But we have to be careful. Elena can't suspect a thing yet."

Kalyan's eyes narrowed. "Elena? You mean the woman you're pretending to love?"

I felt a surge of guilt, but I pushed it aside. "She's just a pawn in my game, Kalyan, like common, she is so boring and always around. A means to an end. She’s just an abandoned orphan so for now let her be. I chuckled at her.
