One week later.

Lorenzo's POV

Today's the day. Today is the D-day.

It's my father's wedding to Lora. Luke and I had flown in this morning and we are now seated in the huge church. My father is at the altar with the minister by his side. I can't believe I'm watching him get remarried. That trust fund money better be worth this.

"What in the world are those?" Luke says in a very disgusted voice.

I look to the side and see what exactly had put that tone into Luke's voice. It's the bridesmaids. In very hideous dresses. The kind that looks like a rainbow threw up on it and then ran over it with a car before dumping it in the sewers. Dear God. What did Lora do to these poor ladies?

I'm still distracted by the horrendous gowns when Celestine walks in but my breathing stops and my heart starts beating faster. Damn it. What is wrong with me? I'm not supposed to be feeling this way. I'm meant to be boiling with blind rage at seeing her face not wondering if I'm going to have a heart attack.
