Chapter 82

Luke's POV

Celestine's friend is standing outside the restroom when I get there. She sees me and then meets me halfway.

"Is Lorenzo in there?" she asks, pointing to the closed door.

"Yes. I called him and told him that I had to tell him something." He had agreed to meet me in the restroom without any questions. In fact, it had been too easy. "Is Celestine in there?"

"Yeah. She went in a while ago." She looks at the door and then at me again. "Do you think they are talking?"

"I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see." I lean on the wall behind me and cross my arm, taking a good look at Celestine's friend. "I didn't quite catch your name earlier."

"It's Eve," she says with a little smile on her face.

"Eve," I mouth, testing out the name on my tongue. "I like it." A tiny blush appears on her cheeks and the realization that I've made her flutter brings a smile to my face.

Just as I'm about to speak again, the restroom door opens with a bang and Lorenzo walks out with his face scrunch
