Nicklaus’s POV:
I stood in front of the door, my eyes fixed on the grand staircase, as I waited for Elena to come downstairs. After a few minutes, she elegantly walked down the stairs.
Her presence commanded her attention, and my gaze was on her. She looked so beautiful and attractive in that red dress. She is a real beauty, and I never regretted making her my wife.
She walked down the stairs with a broad smile on her face as our eyes met. The bright light from the chandelier made her look like the spotlight, and I became speechless.
She has always been a beautiful woman; right from the first day I set my eyes on her at the altar. I am glad she will be the mother of my kids with these beautiful genes.
Her black hair was styled perfectly, and her makeup was natural and flawless. I patiently waited for her to come downstairs when I walked up to her.
I smiled at her and said, “You are so beautiful, my wife.” I spoke, and my voice was so audible that my workers could hear me. They all stood and watched the beautiful moment between us.
“Thank you, my husband,” she said, blinking her eyes, and I chuckled lightly.
I reached for my pocket and brought out a diamond bracelet that I had bought for her. “I got this for you,” I said.
Her eyes widened. “Wow, it's so beautiful. She said. And I reached for her hand and gently fixed it.
I couldn't take my eyes off her. She looked extremely beautiful. Elena cleared her throat and brought me back to reality.
“Shall we?” I gestured for her to hold my hands. With a smile on her face, she quietly handed her hands over, and together we walked outside to the waiting Range Rover.
The guards opened the door for us, and we both settled in the car. I stole glances at her with my side eyes as we headed to the event centre.
Her skin was radiant, and her eyes sparkled. I could feel her excitement.
The stylist did a great job on my wife. We were almost at the villa. I reached for her hands when I touched them, feeling how tensed she was becoming. I gave it a gentle squeeze and tried to calm her down.
“You will be fine. Relax.” I leaned in and whispered.
She turned to face me and smiled lightly. She adjusted her sitting position and sat close to me.
“It's just like the last event we attended. Just be yourself and have fun.” I some.
I found myself attached to Elena as we spent more time together. It made me a better and more jovial person. I had never believed in life, but here I am. Elena is my life.
I am glad fate brought us together. My life was a mess before, and I was living in complete darkness. Now I know that family and finding love is everything.
Elena’s POV:After a short drive, we arrived at the villa. We came out of the car and walked to the red carpet with Nicklaus’ bodyguards shielding us. The camera clicked, and light flashed from different angles. Nicklaus placed his hands on my waist as we walked through the red carpet, making our way to the red carpet rolled on the floor. My palms became sweaty as we approached the crows. I exhaled and tried to calm my nerves.“I'm getting nervous,” I whispered to him. He leaned in and kissed me on the forehead. “I know people are watching us. Just be calm and be yourself. I am right here with you,” he said, assuring me.“Are you ready?” he asked.Smiling nervously, I nodded in agreement. I have only seen this on TV and every social media site; never in my life did I think I would experience such.We walked down the red carpet to the entrance. The paparazzi wouldn't stop taking pictures of our every move, and they started throwing questions at us. Nicklaus remained calm as he plac
Elena’s POV:I woke up very early in the morning when I felt the sun's rays, and I became warm in Nicklaus's arms. I felt warm for a few minutes and decided to cuddle up with Nicklaus while taking a deep breath. I opened my eyes with a warm smile, and my gaze fell on Nicklaus. His eyes were opened, and he had been staring at me. “Good morning, beautiful.” He greeted me warmly. “Good morning, my love. Did you sleep well?” I asked, and my voice was low and husky. “Yes, I did, and you?” he asked.“I did,”“And the baby?”“Very well.”It is a beautiful Friday morning, and I feel very energetic. I stirred, yawned, and stretched my body a little. Nicklaus and I gladly rolled out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I wanted to exercise a little, but I felt tired. Since I have been attending birth class this week, I can skip today and have a great time. I walked to the door barefoot and splashed water on my face. I observed my skin in the mirror and noticed how radiant it looked. I ha
Elena’s POV:I was surprised to see them this early in the morning, but I gestured for them to join me. “Come join me for breakfast.I was interested in knowing if they visited this morning. I watched them as they walked elegantly, carefully swaying their hips from side to side.“Sit down.” I spoke and gestured for them to sit down. The chefs served us breakfast, and the atmosphere was weird.I became curious, and I narrowed my eyes. “What brings you here?” I asked, breaking the silence. My stepmother looked at me and reached for my hands to gently squeeze them. Her eye fell on my baby bump.“Elena, I am so sorry for everything that happened. We wanted to save you from the disgrace of Caleb leaving you on your wedding day,” she said.“Mother, that's enough. I know you did it for Dad’s company, and it's fine.” I spoke. She nodded her head nervously. “Yes, that was also included, but look at you. You are very happy right now. I am so happy for you, Elena. Please forgive me,” she plead
Elena’s POV:After dinner, I felt happy and energetic. I didn't want them to leave. I wanted them to stay back so we could chat all night long, but they had to leave. Nicklaus walked me upstairs, and we had a hot shower together. He helped me scrub my hair and my back, and I also did the same thing. I cleaned my body with a white fluffy towel and changed into sexy long lingerie. I did my nighttime skincare routine and packed my hair in a messy bun.Nicklaus slipped into grey shorts, and we lay on the bed to rest. I rested my head on his chest and my hand on my stomach. It was as if something peaceful touched my soul. “I don't like the idea of attending the party at my parent's house,” I said, looking up to him. “Why?” Nicklaus asked.“I don't know. Something feels off,” I said. “Well, you should trust your instincts, and if you feel like something is wrong, don't worry yourself about it. But remember, the party is for you, and you can't miss it,” he said.I nodded my head in agre
Elena’s POV:It was already evening, and I felt anxious as I got myself prepared for the party at my parents's house. I sat in the closet and watched myself in the mirror. I exhaled deeply. “You can do this, Elena,” I muttered silently, trying to calm myself. I applied black mascara, which made my lashes long and thick. I also applied a little pink blush on my cheeks to frame my cheekbones before carefully adding the highlighter to give my skin a sparkling glow.I looked at my reflection in the mirror and admired myself. I never imagined that a day would come when I would look this pretty and live this kind of good life.Despite everything I have been through, Nicklaus has indeed changed my life for the better. He has been supportive and caring all along. Now I can't imagine my life without Nicklaus by my side.I selected Nicklaus's outfit and picked a brown Armani suit with a white inner. He slipped into it, and I gently fixed his cufflinks. He distracted me by rubbing his thumb aga
Sarah’s POV:The evening drew close, and I couldn't wait for the party tonight. I sat on my bed with my legs crossed and watched as my maid carefully arranged my outfit. The show and purse were neatly arranged. I had been waiting for this event for so long. I contemplated the events of the last few days. It has been really suffocating for me, and when I saw Elena pregnant, These past few months have been hell, and tonight will be a night to put an end to it. My mother walked into my room, leaving the door open, which was a sign for the maid to leave so we could have a private chat. “Excuse me, ma'am,” the maid said, and she walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. “Hey, mom! How are you preparing for tonight?” I asked. “Everything is going smoothly. The furniture is all set,” she said excitedly. “How about the substance? Is it ready?” My motherI nodded my head and reached for my purse. I opened it and showed it to her. I grinned and, at the same time, pressed my lip
Elena’s POV:The driver drove us to the house, and we left without saying goodbye. I was feeling uneasy, and I just wanted to lay in bed and have a good rest. My energy reduced, and I rested my head on Nicklaus’ chest. While I tried to close my eyes to get some rest, I couldn't wait to get home. I was feeling so uncomfortable and my stomach was starting to ache a little. We arrived at the mansion, and the driver parked in front of the building. Nicklaus got out of the car and helped me get out too. He held my hands, and we walked slowly into the building. I couldn't take it anymore. I was too weak to climb the stairs, so I sat on the couch in the living room. Nicklaus's facial expression turned serious, and he squatted in front of me. “Elena, are you sure you are doing okay? Would you like me to take you upstairs?” he asked. I shook my head. “I just need to catch my breath,” I said, closing my eyes and resting my head on the couch. I took in a few deep breaths to calm myself down,
Nicklaus’s POV:My eyes widened, and my heart was pounding hard in my chest. I didn't even know what to do.“Elena, please stay with me.” I pleaded. I became scared as I held Elena in my hands. Her eyes slowly closed, and she passed out. The workers had already been dismissed from their quarters, and it was just Mr. Mike. We hurriedly carried her to the car. What could have happened to her? She was fine earlier. I could see tiny blood stains on her dress, and I became very scared. I do not know much about pregnancy, but I know that it has never been a good sign. It had never been something good.My hI lost control of myself, and I didn't know where to start. Tears were starting to gather in my eyes. It was as if I was losing it, and my limbs were numb. “What could have gone wrong? Elena? Please don't do this to me,” I pleaded. I started to panic, and I looked around in confusion. I have done my best to see that everything is going fine. I had given her all the care and attention.
