Elena’s POV:
My jaw dropped, and the words couldn't come out of my mouth. “What? Jealous of what?” I asked, chuckling lightly and trying to shake it off.
Nicklaus smiled and bit his lower lips. “Jealous because other ladies would see your husband’s sexy body?” He asked, his voice filled with sarcasm.
I scoffed, fixing my gaze back at him. “Why would I be jealous? Does it look like I am jealous?” I asked, crossing my arms on my chest.
I walked to sit in the dining room. “Don't think so highly of yourself, Nicklaus,” I said, and immediately I kept mute. I couldn't believe I had just called him by his first name. My eyes fell on his arms. He was putting on a shirt, and he rolled the sleeves. They looked so good, but I managed to drift my eyes away from him to the other side of the room.
“Well, other ladies stared at my broad chest from afar, and I could tell they admired me,” he said.
“Good for them. You should know you are married, so stop exposing yourself to other ladies. I have a reputation to protect.” I spoke, grabbing the cutlery.
Nicklaus chuckled and muttered something under his breath. I raised my eyebrows and gave him a questioning look. “What did you say?”
“I didn't say anything. Unless you want to hear about how they all stared at my tattoos,” he said.
I remembered the tattoos on his chest when he stood close to me last night and how he left me hanging. I was getting embarrassed by the conversation, so I tried to change the topic.
“This food is a lot,” I said.
“Since you were taking so long in the bathroom, I wasn't sure about what you would like to eat, so I had to order the best dishes,” he explained.
“And do you think we would be able to finish all of it?” I asked.
He looked at me. “We?” he asked, raising his eyebrows.
“Uhmm”
“Well, you better not blame me as well. I ordered it for you, and you have to eat all of it,” he said as he served me.
“I am not a glutton,” I replied.!
He narrowed his eyes and paused, “Don't tell me you are on a diet shit like all other ladies.”
“Diet? Hell no.” I spoke. “This food is way too much, and you know that unless you want me to add weight in no time,” I responded.
We began to eat in silence. I couldn't help but notice his clean nails and long fingers.
My eyes slowly moved up to his face. How can someone be this handsome even when he is eating? He wouldn't have been a businessman, but he would have been a model. He is way too handsome.
My eyes moved to his strong arms. I couldn't believe that he let all those ladies outside stare at his arms while showering outside.
Suddenly, I remembered how he stood there last night after making my body hot. I couldn't deny that I was already waiting for him to caress me and make me his. But why did he stop, though? Doesn't he find me attractive, like all of his mistresses?
“What is going on in that tiny head of yours?” Nicklaus spoke. It was then that he realised that he had been watching me all along.
“Nothing serious,” I said.
Nicklaus fixed his eyes on me as if he were trying to read my mind.
“You are thinking about him, right?” he asked, his voice firm. I could feel his anger rising in his voice.
“Thinking about who?” I asked, narrowing my brows.
“Don't fucking lie to me, Elena. You are still thinking of your ex-finance. You dreamt about him last night,” he said.
I pressed my lips into a thin line and said, “Well, I can't remember the nightmares I had last night, but I am not thinking about my ex-fiance.” I spoke
He stood up from the chair and walked to me on the opposite side of the table. I was still sitting on my chair, as if I were glued to it. He leaned in his face, a few inches away from mine. His gaze was fixed on mine, and our eyes locked.
I was becoming scared as his gaze intensified.
“Listen to me; you are now Mrs. Nickluas Coleman. You are my wife, and you can only think of me and dream of me. I own you now, and you will do what I say.”
“Just like you first said. I am your wife. You can't be possessive around me, just like you are to your mistresses.” I responded.
“Do not ever cheat on me. Trust me to destroy your life and everything your family has worked hard to get. I will start with your parents, and then I will come for you,” he warned. His voice made me feel chills down my spine.
“You are just like a devil. No matter how hard you try to read my thoughts, you can never do that. This is not a game. You wouldn't have decided to get married to me if you wanted to be this possessive.” I spoke.
Before I could say any more words, he leaned in and kissed me deeply. I tried to fight it and push him away from me, but his lips brushed against my lips, and I closed my eyes. The kiss calmed my nerves.
After some time, I remembered what he did to me last night, so I pushed him away. I stood up and walked out of the living room.
Elena’s POV:I walked outside to the beach with the breeze caressing my skin and the hot rays from the sun resting on my skin. I could feel the soft sand under my feet as I walked along the shore. This is just what I needed. My space from this whole marriage drama.I moved out of our private spot and found a quiet and open spot that was away from the crowds. I watched the beautiful water as the waves washed over my feet. I sat there, deep in thought. I couldn't help but think about all that I had gone through in three days. My life changed in just one day, and now I have to get used to it for the rest of my life. Now I am stuck with this ruthless billionaire who thinks highly of himself for the rest of my life. I don't know how to deal with this. I have never made any decisions of mine since I was born. I wish I could make my choice before coming into the world; I wouldn't have chosen to be in my family. I have always dreamt of becoming an international chef, breaking the world reco
Elena’s POV:I didn’t know what I was doing again. All I know is that I have been feeling something very strong for Nicklaus, a strong desire that I couldn't control, and I just allowed myself to live in the moment. I felt a shiver in my limbs as he spoke. “I want you,” I said, leaning closer to him. My eyes moved from his piercing dark eyes down to his lips as he bit them involuntarily.I couldn't deny how I felt at that moment. I wanted to kiss Nicklaus and feel his touch. He just confessed that he wanted it as well. The rain poured heavily on the beach, and the sound was deafening. I leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips without hesitating. Something I never imagined I could do. His lips were so soft and desirable. Nicklaus backed away; his eyes widened, but I placed my hands on his jaw and pulled him close to me. He wrapped his hands around my neck and pressed his lips against me. This time around, the kiss was deeper and more passionate. I could feel every bit of him.I hel
Nicklaus’ POV:I lay on my back to catch my breath, and I freed Elena from my body weight, planting kisses on her forehead. She placed her hand on my chest and rested her head on my body. I felt nervous at her touch, so I tried to move away. “I have never liked to cuddle,” I said, my chest ringing and falling rapidly. Her touch was putting me on fire. I was beginning to feel connected to her. It was making me burn for her.She still placed her hand on my chest. “There is always a first time. Don't you like it?” She asked, and her voice was low and husky. I knew she was not going to give up like that. I allowed her to touch my chest, and I slowly relaxed.I looked at her, “Do you like it? How do you feel?” I asked, fixing my eyes on hers as if I were trying to read her thoughts. “How are you feeling right now?”She took a deep breath. “I am a bit sore,” she confessed. My eyes were filled with concern, and I placed my hand on her waist. “I am so sorry. I tried my best to be gentle on
Elena’s POV:I woke up from my slumber and slowly opened my eyes in the morning to find myself cuddled up with Nicklaus. His arms were wrapped tightly around his waist. His body was so warm.My gaze landed on his face, and I noticed all of his perfect features. His soft lip and pointed nose, his curly and thick hair, and his jaw were clenched. How could someone be this handsome even in his sleep? He looks perfect. The memories of what happened last night flooded my mind. I could remember standing in the rain, kissing, and making passionate love in this room.My cheeks reddened with embarrassment, and for a moment, I lay silently, trying to process what happened between us and how I would get myself out of his grip. I knew I had to play my part in the marriage by giving him an heir, but never did I ever think of both of us making love so passionately. I raised my eyes and looked at Nicklaus, who was still fast asleep. He looked peaceful, but I knew that it would not take long for him
Elena’s POV:“Thank you,” I managed to talk my way out of the awkward situation. I walked to the dining area with my heart still pounding. I felt a little relieved.I perceived the nice aroma of the freshly cooked meal and the nice coffee. I could also perceive the scent of the local delicacies that were arranged on the table. I have always loved trying new meals, and I love local delicacies.Nicklaus joined me shortly after he had his bath. His hair was curly, and his eyes sparkled. He was putting on a blue shirt with a white inner and a blue shirt. We dug into our meals and enjoyed the nice flavours. They all had different and unique tastes, and I enjoyed the fresh ingredients. “My assistant had arranged our activities for the day,” Nicklaus said.My face lit up immediately. “That's great. I have been looking forward to exploring.” I spoke excitedly. Nicklaus grinned mischievously. "First up, we have a couple of spa dates. Massages, facials, etc. We deserve some pampering after
Nicklaus POV:The next morning, our luggage was neatly arranged, and we planned to return to Los Angeles from the Bahamas. I wish I could stay here and have more fun, but I also miss working. It was a lovely honeymoon, even though I wish it had lasted a little longer, but I had to embark on new work projects that needed my full attention.I had a cold bath and changed into black joggers and a black shirt with black sneakers. Black and grey has always been my thing. It made me look unapproachable and serious. I also wore a black pair of eyeglasses and waited for Elena in the living room.“Elena, are you ready?” I asked from the sitting room.“Yes, I am. I will be with you shortly.” Elena yelled, and she walked out of the bedroom. She was dressed in grey joggers and a white shirt. She wore white sneakers and packed her hair into a sleek bun. I could not help but admire her beauty and also see her as one of my favourite colours. She looked more beautiful as the days went by.I smiled a
Nicklaus’ POV:Elena was lying on the bed, shivering. Her face was pale, and she looked weak. I quickly ran to the other side of the bed.My eyes widened.I held her hand in mine, and it was so cold to touch. I could feel her trembling, and I didn't know what to do. “Elena, are you alright? what's wrong?" I asked with my voice low, and it trembled. I stroked her hair, trying to make her conscious of it, but she didn't respond. She was too weak to talk. I was scared and didn't know what to do. I tried to calm my mind, but I couldn't stop myself from panicking.“Get me my phone,” I ordered, Mr. Mike, my butler, who stood beside me as we both tried to wake Elena.I cupped her face with my arms. "Elena, can you hear me? What's going on? Do you have a fever?" I knew I needed to get her help as soon as possible.Mr. Mike walked in and handed me the phone. I dialled my doctor's number immediately, and he picked up on the first ring. “Dr. Thompson, I need you here right now.” I spoke ur
Elena’s POV: It’s been three weeks since we came back from our honeymoon, and everything seemed perfect. My new life had been perfect and even way more beautiful than I ever imagined it with Caleb. Nicklaus has been very nice to me; he took care of me, and we have grown close together. We now share a strong bond. I have become so fond of him that I always find myself thinking about him whenever he is at work. We always talked on the phone and went on dinner dates. This morning, we decided to have breakfast together. I came downstairs before Nicklaus and chatted with the chef. I had built a strong relationship with the workers, and we usually have conversations now and then. Nicklaus sat him down after a few minutes, and we sat in the dining area. I decided to serve myself a cup of coffee. Nicklaus gave me a stern look. “Why are you chatting with the chef and serving yourself?” he asked. Before I could say anything, I heard a loud sound on the dining table, and I looked towards
