Chapter 122

Sarah’s POV:

I walked down the aisle in my beautiful white wedding dress. The stunning lace and crystals glittered in the light. My father held my arms beside him; he was filled with pride as he escorted me to my future husband.

I couldn't stop smiling. I was grinning ear to ear, and all eyes were on me. I enjoyed the excitement and joy of the moment. It made me feel like a princess in a fairy tale and the centre of attraction.

I love that I was the center of attraction and all eyes were on me and Nicklaus. Everybody admired me as I walked to the alter.

The guest stood on their feet. I could see the admiration on their faces. I became the spotlight and had my dream wedding, which made me the talk of the town. Nicklaus was already standing at the altar waiting for me. His charming smile made me fall hard for him.

He was dressed in a black suit, which suited him perfectly, and his hair was styled, every strand in place. He looked like a model about to walk down the runway for Vogue magazine. I couldn't get over the fact that I am getting married to the most handsome and richest man in the planet.

The cameras wouldn't stop clicking, capturing every moment of this special day. Every move I too was being captures on camera. I fixed my eyes on Nicklaus as I approached him together with my dad. My father gently squeezed my arm, and I knew he was happy to see me getting married to Nicklaus.

He is a proud father. I have proven myself to him once again and I promise to never let him down.

When I reached the altar, my eyes and Nicklaus’s eyes locked, and I couldn't get over his piercing gaze, but he seemed to not be interested in me. His mind seems to be elsewhere.

I didn't say a word. We both faced the altar, and the priest began the ceremony, and we performed our marital vows. Wherever it is, he is getting married to me and I will make him fall for him.

The whole guest and congregation cheered and clapped as we both exchanged rings. I could see everyone looking at us in admiration; their faces were filled with happiness and envy. This is what I just love.

I couldn't stop smiling with my teeth wide open. I felt like I was on top of the world with no one to bring me down. The whole bloggers were here. Celebrities and high profile figure will be here too.

After the wedding, we walked into the reception hall for our dinner night. We were surrounded by friends and families. They were all happy. We all ate and drank.

I hurriedly got to my room and changed into a white dinner dress that revealed my curves, and my makeup was retouched to perfection. I was already feeling exhausted and tired, but I had to show up for the gramme.

My make-up made me look flawless, and my bridal bun was still in place; not a single strand was out of place. My skin was glowing in the golden light. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and raised my left hand, and I stared at my diamond ring that sparkled in the light like tiny stars.

I felt like a queen, living in my fairy tale. The stylist walked out of the room, and my mother walked in as she watched me admire my dinner dress.

"Sarah, darling, your father and I have never been so proud of you. This is just the beginning of your happiness,” she spoke and adjusted my necklace.

“Thank you, mama,” I spoke.

My mother narrowed her eyes and gave me a questioning look. “That reminds me, Sarah. I haven't seen Marina all day. Is she on her day off?” My mother asked.

I giggled and turned around to look at her. “That is because she is dead,” I said. My voice was deep and in a low tone.

My mother’s eyes widened. “What? What do you mean, Sarah? Is that a joke?” she asked:

I turned back and looked at my reflection in the mirror. "No, mama. I killed her. Marina had been the blackmailer all this while. I hope she is happy wherever she is.” I spoke.

“I had silenced her for good.” I spoke.

“What?”
