Sarah’s Pov

"You're unbelievable, Ethan." I covered my mouth and leaned my body backward as he laughed out loud.

Ethan drove with a crisp laugh coming out of his mouth while occasionally looking at me. He laughed and found my face funny, which astonished me. Who didn't know that there was someone who secretly loved me with such deep feelings all this time?

I stared straight ahead, still in disbelief at the thought, kept shaking my head repeatedly, and then glanced at him. "Don't tell me all this time you were expecting the worst to happen to me?"

He furrowed his brow. I could see she was a bit unaccepting of that statement. "It's not like that. How could I expect anything bad to happen to you, certainly not Sarah? I do like you, but I can't expect the worst to happen. I certainly hope you're happy with your choice."

"Is that so?" I furrowed my brow, somewhat sentimentally at his words. "Then you ordered a dress for me to wear? That's a bit of a contradiction to what you said."
