Do I have to involve him in this? I looked at him doubtfully. For a moment, I was silent while looking at my hand, twisting my fingers. Then I decided that I shouldn't. I straightened my head. "No, just forget what I said earlier. Just pretend you didn't hear it." I smiled at her.
